Rumors, were being spread immediately. It started from a group of girls. Stuff such as "Do you know why Yeonjun has been so distant with his friendgroup lately?" "Maybe it's cause of that Soobin guy." "Possibly..didnt they get paired up together for a project?" "What if they're dating!" Was being said.
When Soobin walked into the school, he was so confused on why he was getting dirty looks by everybody.
One girl, yeji, came up to Soobin. She looked concerned. "Soobin, is it true?"
"Huh...?? Is what true?" Soobin was not having it today. He barely got sleep, and of course, school just being torture itself.
"People are saying you and Yeonjun are dating...it isn't true, right?" Yeji crossed her arms.
Soobins eyes widened and he sorta blushed. He was still functioning what was just asked to him. "Uh...no? We aren't dating. Where did this even come from? Is this why people are looking at me like that?"
Yeji nodded and sighed. "Yeah, bro. Everybody's saying you and yeonjun are dating and people are furious about it. Honestly, I hate Yeonjun. He's weird." Yeji just rolled her eyes and looked at Soobin. "You wanna be friends though? I'll clear things up for you if you want."
Soobin nodded immediately and just rolled his eyes when he saw Yeonjun walking in the school aswell.
"Well, that would be nice." Soobin smiled at yeji. "I have to go, I'll see you around, yeji!"
They parted ways and Soobin was so pissed off even if he didn't show it. He was still stuck on how people even could've made up the rumor.
It was worse when he saw Yeonjun walked to him and sat next to him in EVERY single class they had together.
Soobin wanted to just die right there and then, cause of the stares he got. He was loosing it.
At lunch, he went to Yeonjun. He needed to talk to him. "Yeonjun, we need to talk."
Yeonjun got up and walked with Soobin, he was so confused but he was happy to even be with Soobin.
"Yeonjun. People are saying we are-" Soobin got cut off from Yeonjun,
"Yeah yeah I know people are saying we are dating." Yeonjun leaned against the lockers near them and smirked.
"Okay?! And we have to do something about it!" Soobin groaned
Yeonjun just laughed and put a hand on soobins shoulder.
"What? Yeonjun...don't tell me you're telling people we are." Soobins jaw just dropped.
"Bin, I'm not.." Yeonjuns smirk was still visible.
Soobin was getting frustrated. He could tell Yeonjun was lying- He was being an asshole. He swatted yeonjuns hand off his shoulder.
"YEONJUN. Tell me the truth." Soobin was pissed off at Yeonjun at this point.
"Damn damn I'm just kidding, chill. I told them no, why are you so worried?" Yeonjun tilted his head.
Soobin just rolled his eyes and he got the answer he wanted. He just mumbled something, and walked off.
Yeonjun then realized he fucked up when he did that. "Jeez why do I always act up when I'm around him?" He thought.
Little did they know, somebody was watching them. The entire conversation.
Though, yeonjun felt like he was being watched. He just shrugged it off and walked back to his friend group;
He was thinking of the sight of Soobin being pissed off, it was cute. He rested his head on his palm, listening to his friends just talk.
He looked around and spotted Soobin- he watched his every move. He just zoned out on soobin, until he was being called by his friends.
What is wrong with me?" He thought.
What's going on? Why am I acting so weird nowadays... He said in his mind.
He just went on with his day, denying all of those rumors of him and Soobin dating. Though he wish he would just say "yea" to it- wait what?! There it goes again. He was acting weird. The only thing in his mind? Soobin, Soobin, Soobin, and... Soobin.
He tried to get his mind off of Soobin, but...failed too. He really wanted to see Soobin again, his only excuse to see him was in class and the project.
