I groaned as I woke up for my first class of the day. I was so sleepy it wasn't even funny so I knew i was gonna be in a shitty mood and didn't want to talk to anybody. I was getting my hair done next week so that's a good thing.
Then suddenly I got a phone call from ma. "Ma before you say anything why yo.u calling me at.." I took my phone away from my ear to see what time it was, then put it back to my ear. " 5:45 in the morning." I said getting out of bed and going to the bathroom to do my morning routine.
" Lil girl first off who you think you talking to , second off can't i call my daughter?" I put the phone on speaker and set it on the counter and grabbed my toothbrush. "I never said you couldn't call me but why this early in the damn mornin." I scrunched up my face when she went silent and started face timing me. I answered and she was just giving me a stank face. " girl if you don't show me your damn face." I wanted to cry. I faced the camera up to where she could see my face.
"Damn girl no wonder why you talkin to me like that. *wheeze* why the hell yo bonnet bout to fly off yo head, yo eyes is two different shapes and look like you hate your life." I started to laugh with her because of her laugh " Ma what you calling me for." I said as i grabbed my mouth wash.
"Two reasons, number one you should pack some clothes cuz i done got an email from yo school talkin bout yall going to some camp for three days or so." I moved my hand in a circular movement telling her to continue. "Annnddd I got a new mannn, he soo FOINE his name is keigo and I'm coming back to japan in probably four days so i can introduce you to his fine ass." I looked at her through the screen like she was crazy "ma, imma call you later love you." I said kissing the phone and hanging up on her before she could say anything else.

I left my hair in a afro because I didn't feel like doing it today, I was too tired. I put my pick in my pocket just incase it tried to shrink. I grabbed my bookbag and my little suitcase and walked out my dorm to class.
