07- Realisation

"Finally we are done with the grocery list and the two are on beds too" Jaeyun sighed as he stretched out his arms while yawning. Heeseung smiled looking at the male and just shook his head before grabbing the blanket from the side, opening and spreading it as the younger slipped out of his slippers and plopped himself on the bed. '"Careful" Heeseung remarked and the younger male giggled. 

"It's been a while since we slept like this" hearing Jaeyun speak the elder nodded as he too laid down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. this room too had just one bed which was taken by Jaeyun as Ni-Ki preferred to sleep on the single mattress on the floor, finding it more comfortable and cozy to sleep. Heeseung looked at his side when he felt a pair of eyes staring down at his face. 

his breathe hitched when he saw the younger staring at him in the dim warm light of the lamp, hitting their faces. The two just stared down in each other's eyes before looking back at the ceiling. "I love this feeling" Jaeyun spoke as his cheeks were visibly red while same goes with Heeseung's ears. "And what is it?" Heeseung hummed and questioned back feeling his heart beat faster in the chest. 

"comfort" 

the two smiled each other as their red ears went unnoticed by other one as they just bid each other a small good night before back facing each other and snuggling in their pillows and holding on the blanket.

Both completely unaware of each other's shy smiles as it went away as a good night. 

ʕ⁠·⁠ᴥ⁠·⁠ʔ

"How do we go back hyung?" Ni-Ki spoke already out of breathe because of all the running. Sunoo looked at him with his head tilted as he himself had no idea, his eyes seemed lost as he just stared at the younger and taller male. A sense of relief in him as he saw the younger male infront of him. "Shouldn't we be happy we are back home?" Sunoo questioned in tiny as he bit his lips, not being sure himself. 

"We should" Ni-ki mumbled as his hands left the door knob, letting the door free and shut down making Sunoo flinch just for a tiny bit. "But don't you wanna go back?" He questioned again and the elder immediately know he couldn't oppose the urge to go back. "You wanna right? i wanna go back too hyung, i can't stay still because you know we have our works left undone, i can't be in peace until i know why all this is happening." Ni-ki spoke up as he sat down next to his best friend on the bed with his hands on the elder's softly rubbing it for the grief of comfort. 

"there must be some reason we slipped in time hyung, there definitely must a reason and we must look for it ourselves." Ni-Ki looked at the elder who sighed at him and buried his head in the younger's chest who just hummed and patted the blonde's head.

"Let's just think it through, we are together no matter what"

ʕ⁠·⁠ᴥ⁠·⁠ʔ

The route to their university was familiar as they walked through it kicking the pebbles off the footpath. They already got their breakfast after getting off the bus and are now just thinking of the possibilities of them going back.

"We will surely go back hyung" Ni-Ki assured as he sighed and tried to comfort the elder for the nth time now. "Whatever let's just think about it for the time being and act back".

Before Ni-ki could even reply a voice from the back startled him and chills ram down his spine.

"Sunoo-yah oh hi Ni-ki"

Yeah he totally forgot about it. 

The shine in Sunoo's eyes as he heard the voice just broke Ni-Ki more. "Jaehyun-ah heyy" The elder was quick to greet back as he turned around to look for the male. Ni-Ki just gave a faint smile to the other male. No Ni-Ki didn't hate him, Jaehyun was a really good male and friend, a carefree and loving person whom no doubt everyone would love. Ni-Ki was just sorry, sorry for himself.. 

He knew he was in no math with the other boy. He didn't mean that he was bad or compared to Jaehyun less but he didn't had the characterstics like Jaehyun. The elder male was more on the bubbly side, always in a good mood and ready to have fun. An introvert but carefree who loved to be around people  and was always ready to embrace them. Just like Sunoo. 

the vibe match between them was just too obvious and easy to notice. Ni-Ki who was a introvert and enjoys his company with a few people only just saw it through. The confidence he gained through out the days span just vanished just as soon Jaehyun appeared. With Jaehyun the happiness and Sparkled of Sunoo were back too. 

They walked together till the university, his existence only remembered when Jaehyun noticed it and felt slight guilty for not involving the younger male through it. It pained Ni-Ki, Sunoo didn't notice.. Or maybe he did but his sole focus was his crush and Ni-Ki felt sad. 

Sad that he was being selfish and not understanding Sunoo's point of view. Oh how happy he must have felt seeing the boy he likes after a lot of days and the thought itself crushes Ni-Ki, how could he even wish that Jaehyun wasn't there ? When he could totally lighten up his hyung's mood. 

Just as his thoughts circulated it was finally time to let go, let go the two male and head over to his class as they both bid him goodbyes. 

And the day went off like it. Everything felt distant to Ni-Ki. He wished he could hear Jungwon's giggles as Jay snored slightly between the class and then get scolded by the professor. Or the field time when Sunghoon would tease him about the rugby ball and throw it higher to piss off the younger. Or the usual basketball practice with heeseung where he could definitely see the elder's ears red due to the younger teasing him on the name of his future husband. The usual encouragement of Jaeyun with his sweet smile as he supported the young boy and encouraged him to continue so, that it was okay. 

Oh and Sunoo, when the elder would just lay his eyes on him whole day, nag him and gossip to him about the early crushes of his future parents. 

They all were here, but the difference was the time line. They all were at home waiting for him but in the past timeline they made this place home. 

Oh how bad he wanna go back. 

His eyes snapped as he frowned. Wait ? how did he go and slipped in the time at the first place ? he quickly stood up from his head resting position on the table of the library, slightly startling some students who glared over him making him awkwardly smile over them and mutter a small sorry before collecting his things and quickly running off. 

He finally found it. 

Ni-Ki smiled as he looked over at the male who dozed over on his shoulder the ray of sunshine falling on his face, lightening up the eternal beauty of his face. Oh god he truly was an angel and Ni-Ki is damn sure about it. 

"I really hope to have and experience the love my parents have with this angel"
