so in this au its a no special ability au and I'm gonna explain stuffz abt the characters in this au also they aren't in any of the groups they were previously in in the anime/mango (ex. the port mafia or ada) tehe (there may or may not be more character explanations well see)

also uhhh I'm not gonna add stuffz that are already part of their character already so some of these are short which means that I couldn't think of much to add
this does include ships and head canons that I personally like but you obviously don't have to just don't be rude about it or ask for smut (I'm asexual and find writing that gross)

atsushi:
atsushi works at Claire's in THE MALL (mandatory allcaps) and is siblings with kyouka, atsushi would work at bath and body works but the smells are too overwhelming, atsushi's and kyouka's parents are dead, so thus they live alone and atsushi has to pay for everything (he loves kyouka a lot AS A SIBLING), is rivals with akutagawa especially sense theire working places are right across from eachother.
akutagawa:
works at Hot Topic at THE MALL (allcaps mandatory), is rivals with atsushi especially sense their working places are right across from eachother, lives with sibling Gin.
kyouka:
siblings with atsushi, parents still dead, she is 9 in this au, her, Kenji, Q, and Elise are bffs, chuuya baby sits her every day, loves her older brother AS A SIBLING, has a rabbit plush she carries everywhere.
Kenji:
lives across from atsushi and kyouka, chuuya babysits him everyday too, he is also 9 in this au, bffs with kyouka, Q, and Elise.
Q (Yumeno):
is 9 in this au, likes creepy dolls, 100% has a collection of creepy dolls, is babysitted by chuuya everyday, bffs with Elise, kyouka, and kenji.
Elise:
is babysitted by chuuya everyday, is 9 in this au, has made friendship bracelets for her bffs which I am not writing out again u should know by now, has been adopted by mori, and yes she does exsist despite being mori's ability >:3 🤫🧏.
Mori:
adopted elise becuz AROACE, is a doctor, is AROACE, is AROACE, is AROMANTIC and ASEXUAL, 🖤🩶🤍💚, 🖤🩶🤍💜, vita sexuallis is a book about a man who is ACE and thinks society is oversexulised(accoding to sources on Google) so mori is AROACE *breathes heavily*
Chuuya:
is a babysitter and dog walker, baby sits Elise, Q, Kenji, and kyouka everyday, saving up to go to the Eros tour becuz Elise made him a swifty, dazai was his highschool rival and its still going
dazai:
private detective, chuuya's rival sense highschool.
poe:
works at wildlife rehabilitation center and animals shelter, has taken in a raccoon that has separation anxiety so he carries him around (its Karl)
ranpo:
works in THE MALL (allcaps mandatory)'s food court, tellz people they're Stoopid but doesn't get fired cause fukuzawa owns the mall and has adopted ranpo 👍
Gin:
lives with akutagawa her brother, demi-gender/girl as in she is both female and nonbinary (I think that's a good explanation) and uses she/her/they/them pronouns, dates higuchi, does identify as lesbian.
higuchi:
is bi, dating Gin, is rather smitten with Gin
Nikolai:
is in idol group with sigma and Fyodor, has romantic tension with Fyodor but is to stubborn to do anything abt it, is the main center of attention when on stage, sings the really loud and high notes and is lead singer, has fallen off stage several times cuz his spacial awareness is 0
Fyodor:
is in idol group with sigma and nikolai, is second singer, vodca before every show 👍, makes sure Nikolai and manager don't see vodca becuz Nikolai would steal it and the manager would be angy, has romantic tension with Nikolai too stubborn to do anything abt it tho, hasnt passed out due to anemia but has pretty bad dizzy spells usually after every show.
sigma🤫🧏:
is in idol group with Nikolai and Fyodor, doesn't sing much cuz he is tone deaf and has trouble staying conscious during shows and not being able to breathe wouldnt help, feels like fainting becuz of sever anxiety and is kinda weak in general (that's not very alpha of you /j I love sigma sm), also pro gambler, and doesn't really want to be part of the idol group tbh
yosano:
is a doctor, hates mori becuz they are rival doctors (more details later maybe)
kunikida:
math teacher, teaches kyouka, kenji, Q and Elise, is seen in the wild a lot becuase he is chuuya's neighbor
