Today's just so wonderful, I feel like chuckling
Y/n Pines was only 15 when she was told she was going to Gravity Falls to spend the summer with her Great Uncle Stanford.
Ha ha ha
I feel all fuzzy inside like a duckling; full of tarantulas
She packed pencils, paper, some keepsakes from home, and of course, her favorite jacket, the one with the Sun embroidery.
And now that I'm here, tonight, it's gonna get weird!
Look at these creatures, not enough features
It was originally a regular green zip-up she'd gotten from her Grandpa Shermie a couple of years back.
Cats should breath fire, bears should sing choir!
Look at this tower under my power
But she'd let Mable decorate it a few years ago when she was really into cross-stitch, she even made a matching hat too, and she did a really good job with it!
Look at these people, puny and feeble!
Look, I'm just a triangle trying to save you
After putting the final touches on her pack, she wrote her home number on her arm so she could memorize it on the way there.
From the delusions society gave you
Gravity's a lie and so is the sky
Her mom had told her to memorize a few weeks ago, but she was pretty sure she could cram study it.
Trust in the all-seeing, all-knowing eye!
Look at this money–who's that, honey?
And when the bus showed up to take her away, she double checked her things before hugging her parents goodbye.
Look throughout history, how could you miss me?
Look at this weather, I could do better
Then to the bus she went with her head held at a normal height and sat down on the weirdly sticky seat.
Mandelbrot rainbows, screaming tornadoes!
Look at this loser, drinking coffee
Mable and Dipper followed in behind her, running to get the seat at the back of the bus.
...Now it's decaf!
Look at these people, calling me evil
She thought of her great uncle Stanford, she'd never met the guy but heard a few stories from her Grandpa, apparently, he'd been there when she was born.
Right back at you, now you're all statues!
Now everything you know has disappeared
She didn't know what to expect from staying with him over the summer, but she prepared herself for whatever came next in Gravity Falls.
It's gonna get weird...

[A/n: Since the book of bill, Gravity Falls has had a chokehold on my brain. I'll still be updating Monachopsis, but I'm hoping having this book will keep me motivated to update both stories! COMMENT! VOTE! TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!]
