Lingling Kwong just had a long day at work from managing her family's medical business. Work was piling up recently as she was the soon-to-be heiress of the Kwong family's huge lineups of companies. Although at the moment, she is only managing hospitals and medical-related businesses, she's soon going to handle all of her family's companies. But running a hospital is no joke even though she holds a degree from both business and medical fields.

"Hey princess", Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, the daughter of the top security company in the country, Sethachon Securities. Even though she's the heiress of her family's company, she decided to provide security services to P'Lingling Kwong as they are childhood friends. She's had extensive combat training backed by her service in the army. Despite having an impressive background she still manages to put up a bubbly attitude especially around her favorite person to be with.

"What?", Lingling replied coldly. "I got you takeout from I Think You'll Like It. Got all your favorites: glass noodles, and 2 banoffee pies", Orm said as she handed the bag of takeout towards Linglng with the brightest smile that resembled a golden retriever that had just brought the thrown ball back to its owner. "Saw you haven't had your dinner yet, we could eat together before I take you home?", the brown-eyed girl said with a hopeful smile as she knew Lingling had been neglecting her health these past few months. She'd be damned if she let her girl go on like that so she made it a mission to always bring her P'Lingling food so that she doesn't skip her meals.

The black-haired girl looked up from the paperwork she was holding, observed the woman in front of her, and replied with a sigh, "Fine, I'll just finish this off then we can eat". She quickly agreed as she noticed earlier that Orm's voice was different today as it was huskier, which made it sexier, but she shouldn't be thinking like that of her bodyguard. It was obvious that her protector was running a fever due to her voice and her appearance clammy, she noticed as she gave her the bag of food. Lingling once again browsed through the current paperwork that she was holding and decided that Orm is her main priority at the moment. The sooner she lets go of the paperwork, the sooner they can eat dinner, the sooner they can go home, and the sooner she can take care of her Orm.

Lingling got up from her desk and sat on the couch of her office with a center table. She took a glance at her bodyguard and motioned for her to come. "Thanks, princess but I'm running a fever right now. Can't risk spreading it.", the brown-haired girl said with a small smile appreciating Lingling's gesture knowing that if she's the one to initiate contact means a great deal from her side. "Sit here, now.", the woman who's a personification of a black cat calmly said voice laced with authority as she patted the space beside her. Orm not wanting to get on the woman's nerves quickly walked to that area and slowly sat beside her, putting a bit of distance between them as she wanted to minimize the risk of spreading her fever.

They quietly ate both of their meals, each taking a bite whilst taking quick glances towards one another. Orm noticed that there was a bit of stain of the banoffee pie on the edge of Lingling's lips. She quickly grabbed a tissue from the pile of empty takeout containers and edged closer to the girl. Lingling unaware of the gesture, was surprised when she felt a gentle dab on the side of her lips with what appears to be a tissue. Orm was wiping her lips gently as if she were the most fragile human being in the world. They gazed at each other's eyes, steadily getting closer to each other, with their lips only centimeters apart.

"Princess, it's getting late, I should take you home", Orm broke the tender moment, not wanting to kiss the black-haired girl in her current state, seeing that she has a fever and doesn't want Lingling to get sick as well.

As they get to the parking lot of the building, Orm being protective, always checks the car first and the vicinity for P'Lingling's safety. She always checks every corner and nook of the car before she lets Lingling into the vehicle making sure that there are no microchips, and bomb plants that could be triggered at any moment. With the recent news that Lingling will take over all of the businesses of the Kwongs, lots of threats are looming just around the corner, with the Kwong heiress receiving death threats both online and offline, hence the extra attention and protection from her bodyguard.
