¦MINJEONG'S POV¦

The morning rays of the sunlight greeted me as I woke up, the sound of birds chirping outside my balcony was both relaxing and gave me energy. As I rubbed my eyes and sat up, the grogginess from my sleep hit me, I felt tired again, and the energy I had a while ago just faded away into thin air.

I groaned, laying back down and rolling around, trying to get some energy. Until suddenly Jimin walked in the room, holding a tray of food, I didn't expect her to be this affectionate after just meeting the day before. She had a sweet smile plastered on her face, which immediately made butterflies in my stomach, she looked so caring and affectionate, to the point it almost made me want to jump at her and make her mine.

I sat up as the tray if food was placed down my lap, the warmness of the food going through the tray as I felt it on my lap. The smell of pancakes and bacon's and eggs made me feel warm, I looked at her, who was now sitting on the corner of the bed, staring right at my eyes.

"T-thank you...." I mumbled quietly, thanking her with care.

She smiled and said, "You're always welcome, Minjeong....". The loving voice of Jimin and her smile made me warm.... She was so sweet, unlike the woman I met yesterday, who was cold.

She watched me eat the food carefully, studying my expression to see if her cooking was great.

" How's the food?" Jimin asked suddenly. I looked at her.

"It tastes great..... Thank you again for making me breakfast...."

She smiled, her eyes glowing with joy and love, it made me feel cared for and loved, a feeling I longed to feel after so many years, it finally came to me that she was truly the one I wanted, the woman I wanted to be forever with, even after death. I stared at her eyes, my expression loving and caring as I placed my hand on top of hers, which surprised her but she still let me. I carressed it with my thumb gently, tracing over the soft skin of her hand.

Her smile grew wider, it made me happy to see her like that, all I wanted now was to make her feel this way throughout the years of ours marriage. Even though we were only married on paper, it still was like we were actually married now, the warmth of her skin making me feel more joyful.

As I finished my food, she grabbed the tray and started walking out, I stopped her.

"Why are you being this affectionate after we've js met the day before?" I asked her.

She was was silent, the atmosphere in the room became tense. After a few moments of silence, she answered with.

"Because I'm afraid I'll be left again...." Her voice was low and sad, and I forgot to mention that she was divorced a lot of times in the past, she was just afraid to be left alone again. It broke my heart seeing her like this, I grabbed the tray from her hands and placed it down the bed, pulling her for a tight and warm embrace, of course this surprised her, but she hugged back. A wave of emotions washed over me, her sadness still seen on her face.

I reached up, caressing her face gently, making her feel a little bit calmed. She reached up and held my hand that was caressing her cheek and leaned against it, she looked so sweet, but it still tore my heart seeing her sadness still plastered on her face.

I continued comforting her, letting the warmth of my body cover her as I hugged her, rubbing her back. I felt cold droplets on my shoulder, was she crying? This immediately made me react, I pulled her back, seeing the tears on her eyes, it was heartbreaking, I also started crying, tears flowing down my eyes.

"Don't cry... Please...." My voice was stained, choked by my tears as I kept her cry on my shoulder.

"I can't take it, no one has ever shown me this much affection...." Her voice was filled with sadness and pain, this made me cry more, I patted her back, trying to give her a sense of comfort and ease, but her tears just won't stop flowing, she was crying like she had just lost something so valuable.

I continued comforting and pampering her with love and comfort, until she eventually stopped crying and fell asleep on my bed. She cried until night, this is how hurt she was from all those past divorces. I stared at her face as she laid down my bed, her cheeks stained with dry tears as she slept.

The cold breeze brushed though my skin, I let out a sigh, I was relieved that she finally stopped crying, also relieved that I manged to calm her down before she cried even more to the point it will reach midnight. I was proud of myself that I calmed her down, still feeling sadness and rage, because why did her ex's leave a beautiful woman like her? This thought ran through my mind.

I stood up and started walking away, when I suddenly heard her waking up. This made me freeze, I slowly looked behind me to see her sitting up and rubbing her eyes, I noticed that her eyes were bloodshot from all the crying, the dry tears still very visible on her cheeks. I walked back to the bed, standing by the edge of the bed, she crawled to me until she was right in front of me. She wrapped her arms around my waist, burying her face on my chest, she felt so warm and soft, she felt like a cloud.

I slowly hugged her back, burying my face on her hair, inhaling her sweet scent, it made me feel safe and comfortable around her. My hands caressed her hair, my fingers going through her strands of hair as I  continued hugging her, giving her comfort once again. She looked up at me, reaching up to caress her face, she leaned up, kissing her softly. It surprised me, my eyes widening in shock. I reciprocated the kiss, my lips moving with hers in a slow and steady rhythm. Her lips were soft, it felt so arousing and exciting, but also, I was nervous.

As my lip moved against hers, she pulled me down the bed, making me lay down the bed, laying below her, she continued kissing me, not breaking the kiss. This made me pull back, gasping for air as I wrapped my arms around her neck, my eyes staring at hers intently. Her arms wrapped around my waist as she buried her face on the crook of my neck, i felt her warm breath on my skin, it made me shiver. She looked up at me, her eyes filled with affection and warmth, she looked so beautiful. I reached down and caressed her face.

"I love you, Jimin...." I said, my voice quiet as a whisper.

"I love you too, Minjeong..." She was so gentle with those words, it made me feel so happy hearing tjose words from her, it felt like my heart was gonna explode from all the affection she was giving me. I smiled sweetly at her, pecking her lips and hugging her, she laid her head on my chest, listening to the soft heartbeat of my heart. This moment felt like a dream, the warmth and happiness was too much to bear, especially how intimate this movement was.

Hours went by and she fell asleep, I was just staring at her face, caressing it gently, I was also sleepy, but I wanted to watch her more. I slowly placed her beside me, which caused her to shift and turn her back at me. I sighed it relief, relieved that I didn't wake her up. I moved closer to her, wrapping my arms around her waist and mumbling a soft "good night" at her before going to sleep too.
