"I don't think this looks good on me"
It was Friday night and somehow Erica convinced me to go to a party at some boy's house, all because her crush was going to be there. Don't misunderstand me I love going out Friday night to clubs and bars, but house parties are not my vibe, especially with college boys that just want to get drunk and hook up with the first girl they see.
"Are you crazy? It is perfect"
I was wearing a black corset top and some white jeans. I wasn't used to that type of neckline. I felt exposed.
"You think so?"
"Yes! You look gorgeous"
"Thank you. You also look good"
"Thanks"
Erica was wearing a red miniskirt with a black mesh top. She looked great and perhaps I did too but I didn't feel that way.
"We should go the uber is already on its way"
We grabbed our bags and headed downstairs to get into the Uber.
- After the ride–
It was impossible to miss the house where the party was. With people already puking on the front lawn, music blasting through the speakers and couples making out, anyone could definitely tell what type of party this was.
I could feel people staring at us as we walked in. I grabbed Ericas' arm while I asked her:
"Do you know if he is already here?" "He" was Jared Thomson, Ericas' crush since freshmen year of high school. He was the typical football player that everyone in town loved.
"I don't know so keep an eye out for him"
The more we walked into the house the more the music got louder and the air more and more intoxicated by cigarette and vape smoke and by the scent of alcohol.
"Oh, I think I see him there. I will be right back"
"Wait don't" Before I could finish my sentence Erica was already lost in the crowd of people. And there I was all alone at a random house party where I didn't know no one.
I decided to head towards the kitchen (even though I had to look for it) since it was normally a quieter place. When I got there it was just as I predicted with only a couple making out in a further corner and a passed-out guy at a chair.
I poured myself a drink, a mix of the different types of alcohol on the table.
"Yo bro I am grabbing a beer want one? Lame" Just my luck. Despite what some might believe no this was not a 14-year-old boy (though it looked like it) but a frat boy.
"And who are you?" Was he seriously talking to me?
"Abby. And you?" I probably shouldn't have answered but I mean he looked innocent enough just the annoying type of guy.
"The man of your dreams but you can call me Brad"
"Well nice to meet you, Brad"
"What is a girl like you doing alone at a party like this"
"My friend ditched me"
"Oh that was a stupid friend I have to say" Ok if I'm being honest his charm and lame pickup lines were slowly getting to me
"Hey, do you wanna dance" I think the alcohol was getting to me at this point because why was I asking a random boy at a party to dance with me?
"Let's go" He headed towards the living room where there was a Dj and some people dancing.
What was I doing?"I don't think this looks good on me"

Authors note: Sorry for the small chapter and for not being active for a while I just haven't had the motivation to write this story but I will try my best to make more updates.
