Catherine's POV

I stepped out of the black limo holding in my tears. The place was crowded with people saying their fake condolences. I felt like kicking them all out of the ceremony. In my black heels, I walked over to the casket. The casket that will demarcate us forever, that'll separate life from death. Unfortunately, that casket was the casket my sister lay in, dead or perhaps just playing dead. I hoped this was all just a nightmare, maybe a stupid mistake and my sister was still alive somewhere. I bit my lips as those thoughts occupied my head.

A hand was placed on my shoulder, I turned back to see my mum standing behind me. I hugged her and unleashed my tears. The ceremony went by fast as my mind was on the thought of my beloved twin sister never going to wake up again. At the end of the ceremony, I had just one thought, how did my sister die. At a time like this, asking my parents will cause a few problems until I heard one of the old women gossiping at such old ages.

"Do you know what I heard?" One of the women said. "What is it?" Another replied. "Her twin sister, she's here. I don't know which one seems to be her." She said. "Oh, Petunia!" The woman exclaimed as they laughed. "But there is something else Margret." Petunia said. "What is it?" Margret said. "Well, the dead twin didn't just die..." Petunia paused. I was itching to know the remaining parts. "She was killed." Petunia said. "Killed?!" I exclaimed causing the two women to stare at me. They gave a disgusted face and looked at me and said, "Eavesdropper. I bet you're here for the money in it for anyone who attends the burial ceremony of 'our beloved Catherina Evans', hmm?" She said mockingly. "Excuse you?" I asked irritated. "Hm." Margret sighed with a smirk. "Catherina is my twin sister and you have no goddamn right to say that shit here! So get out! No money for you peasant anyways." I said in anger. The two women hurried out of the ceremony.

I left the burial to search Catherina's apartment. I arrived there and unlocked the door to the apartment. "For a multi millionare's daughter, you really are humble, sister." I said as I smiled to myself. The apartment was small with leaks from the ceiling here and there. I walked around the house, bullet holes were in the walls her computer was still intact and a picture lay right on top of the keyboard. I sat on the bloody chair and unlocked the computer and searched for anything useful. It was just some pictures of random people mostly female.

The picture on her table was a picture of her and her boyfriend but a shady looking man in the background. He had cold eyes and he looked like he was hiding something as he was looking at everybody suspiciously. I took out my phone and called my personal assistant. "Hello Catt. I was right about to call. You-" Vivian said before I cut her off.

"Hire a private investigator for me." I said still holding the picture.

"Okay, will do but.. what about your meeting with the CEO of Archeologists Inc."

"Take my place." I said before ending the call.

A few minutes later, she sent a number and email of an investigator, Diego De Zobis. I called him. He said he'd like to see me at his office and he ended the call and sent his address. I hurried out of the apartment and with my still very heavy heart I got into the car, instructing the driver to go to the address the man had given me. After a few ten minutes, we arrived. I got off and into the building. It looked abandoned. "Is this your place of work? So my personal assistant chose a man like you to be my private investi- you know what, we're done here." I said as I tried calling Vivian. "Jose Bruno. He's your guy." He said. I turned and looked at him. "Who?" I asked confused as I snatched the picture from him to take a look.

"The guy at the back. Jose Bruno." He said as he sat on his chair and used his fingers to clean the side of his mouth in frustration. "I'm not getting myself involved in this, take your stuff and get out." He said coldly. "Just a little information." I said. "Information didn't come from me. Jose Bruno is a non suspected mafia boss. He has about 10 hotels one in each country around the world and he owns clubs which are filled about with bad people. His public image shows clean... but its not. You're sorting this out by yourself and I was never involved. Now get out!" He was pretty stern and scared. The private investigator sent names and pictures of the clubs and hotels he runs before he blocked me. The information he gave was more than enough for me without even paying a dime.

At home, I was planning my outfit to visit his club. I chose the most glamorous to attract his attention. It was a black sexy sating bodycom. It wasn't as glamorous but it was a start. I decided to take a cab in order not to attract too much attention. At the club, I took a few shots and searched the crowd for Jose. I took a glass of red wine and walked passed the crowd with my head low until I bumped into a firm body. It was a man. "S-sorry." I slurped. I hadn't raised my head up yet until I realized the whole room was quiet and the music was even turned down. I took a look at the crowd and back at the cold eyes staring at me. "You ruined my suit and couldn't even look me in the eye." He said. "I-I am so so sorry." I begged bowing my head countless times. He took one look at me and said, "Its okay." And he left.

I turned around to see him walking past the crowd clearing for him. "Wait!" I called out as he paused. The crowd became silent once again. "Let me repay you." I said without thinking. "You're obviously drunk." He said as he pulled me to the V.I.P. "I'm not, I'm serious." I said following him. We sat and chatted for a while. "So, how did you expect to pay me back. I don't need your money you know." He said. "Well, there are many different ways." I said cleaning the stain on his suit. I adjusted myself from the chair to the table and sat on his laps.

"You want to offer your body?" He asked. I cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "I'll keep you." He said as he gave me his business card containing his number and email. "So what do you do for a living?" He asked holding my hips. "Well, I do a lot of things." I said biting my lips. "I see you've gotten my full attention, what may they be?" He asked as he rubbed his arms vertically from my hips to my waist. "I'm first of all, yours and I'm a collector. An art collector." I said as I adjusted his suit. "I like your first job more. But the second seems the same to me. You probably came to collect me didn't you." He said. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "We'll see." I said.

He kissed me and I couldn't help but join in, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I pulled away. "What? Whats wrong?" He asked. "Nothing." I said as I wore my shoes back since they had fallen down. "Find me but don't worry, I'll keep in touch." I said waving the business card and phone as I exited the room through the backdoor totally forgetting my purse. I could feel him stare at me as I left.
