if anthony could disappear... in all likelihood, he definitely would. being the annoying, nerdy guy that nobody really likes makes that choice pretty easy. but if he had the option to stay... and live with his best friend leo forever? you best believe that's the option he'd be choosing. without a doubt.

and now that his new friends, adam, bree... and chase were being forced to leave, anthony was pretty damn upset. they all sat in the lab.

chase began to grab all the random stuff around them, and placing it into the small box he had in hand. anthony tilted his head curiously, wondering what he was doing and why he was doing it.

"what're you doing?" leo asked him, making anthony snap out of his thoughts and glance over at the boy next to him. "if davenport is gonna ship us off to some remote facility— then the office supplies are coming with us." he stated. anthony chuckled. "that sounds reasonable to me." he shrugged. "thank you, ant."

he blushed lightly at the name. ant. it was such a simple name... yet when chase said it, anthony felt butterflies form in his stomach and his palms suddenly felt clammy. anthony sighed, shaking his head and bit his lip before inhaling sharply.

"we just got out first taste of normal life. i was— this close to getting a curfew which i was totally gonna break." bree complained. anthony never understood the whole breaking out of the house thing. why would you want to go to a lame party, when you could just open up and read a cool comic book about iron man?

"ooh! but maybe, when we get to wherever we're going, we'll meet a sassy lab chimp named bobo who will take us on adventures and teach us how to love." adam ranted. as he did, chase sat next to anthony, making his heart beat even harder.

"sorry guys. i introduced him to rise of the planet of the apes yesterday." anthony sighed.

"—or, maybe you'll make him angry and he'll maul you and snack on your fingers." chase suggested. anthony found that pretty graphic... but when chase said it, it sounded almost... fine. wait... what?
anthony felt himself get even more nervous. how could chase, a guy he met not even a week ago... make him feel like that? it was torture.

adam abruptly stood up. "hey!" he pointed his finger at him. "i create the monkey fantasies around here." he told him. "and maybe anty-panty, too." he added. anthony almost scoffed at the nickname. but he said nothing, just inhaling and exhaling.

"well, kids," eddie turned on. "i hope you've enjoyed your stay at casa davenport. i know i haven't. sayonara!" he cheered. anthony held back his chuckle, knowing he'd get weird looks.

"eddie, i know we've never been the best of friends, but... we're gonna miss you."

anthony scoffed at bree's words. "aw, really?" he asked. "no!" "we hate you." "you're evil." they all said in unison. that made anthony laugh.
