As An stood in the grand, classy-looking signboard, a whistle escaped her lips.

"Wow," she muttered, excitement bubbling inside her. She finally found herself in the vibrant yet opulent entertainment district, the complete opposite of her own world— her escape, if only for tonight.

She stepped into the dimly lit bar, scanning the drink menu. Nothing too flashy. She didn’t want to draw attention.

"I’ll take the house special," she said to the bartender, her voice steady. When the drink arrived, she took a cautious sip. It was milder than expected, exactly what she wanted.

Trouble wasn’t on her agenda tonight.

Settling onto a stool, she watched the crowd ebb and flow like a restless tide.

As she sat there watching the crowd, she noticed a couple in a dark corner, heavily intertwined. It was a sight that made her feel uncomfortable, yet she couldn't look away.

As An glanced back at the couple, she noticed them in an even more intimate embrace, their bodies pressed against each other in a way that was almost obscene. 'Should I look away?' An questioned herself, but her eyes remained locked on them. Despite her instincts telling her to look away and give them privacy, she couldn't help but feel intrigued, like she was peering into some forbidden act.

An's heart began to beat a little faster as she continued to watch the couple, her eyes transfixed on the way their bodies moved together in a rhythm that seemed almost sinful. She couldn't look away, like a moth being drawn to a flame.

"Snap out of it, An," she whispered, forcing herself to turn away. She focused on the drink in her hand, letting the cool liquid slide down her throat, grounding her.

The whispers and sighs of the couple seemed to be louder and more charged with each passing second. An found herself strangely drawn to the intensity of their passion, a mixture of curiosity and unease coursing through her veins.

An felt her own body betraying her, her breaths coming in shorter gasps and her skin tingling with an unfamiliar heat. It was as if the couple's intimate display was awakening some deep, primal response within her.

She decided to give the couple some privacy and returned her eyes to the scene.

An took another sip from her drink, letting the smooth liquid slide down her throat as her eyes scanned the surrounding area. The atmosphere was charged with the energy of the crowd, like a living entity with a pulse of its own. Some wealthy patrons were openly indulging in their desires, with no regard for the public eye.

She felt like an intruder, an outsider in a world far removed from her own.

An's gaze flickered to the stage, where the lights were lowered in anticipation of the main performance. The excitement in the air was palpable, almost buzzing like a swarm of bees.

The sudden applause and cheers of excitement indicated that the show was about to begin. A murmur of excitement rippled through the room.

An found herself drawn to the front, weaving her way through the crowd. "Excuse me, sorry," she muttered as she squeezed past, finally finding a spot with a decent view, managed to push her way to a vantage point. Her heart was beating loudly, with mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness. She wanted to ensure that no one discovered she was an outsider, especially not in a place where she obviously didn't belong.

As the lights dimmed to the complete darkness, the anticipation in the room was almost palpable. An took a deep breath, her heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and anxiety. She was acutely aware of being an outsider in this setting, a fact that she desperately wanted to keep hidden.
