Visemarians-a name as unique as their race. They arrived on Earth a million years ago, beings of immense power and magic, revered as gods by the early humans. Their dominance reduced humanity to a mere shadow, and with it, the rights of men were stripped away. This imbalance ignited a fervent desire within humanity to reclaim their place at the top of the hierarchy, leading to a conflict that would forever alter their world.

Thus began the Cobian War, the largest and bloodiest conflict known to mankind. Countless lives were sacrificed before humanity emerged victorious. The final remnants of the Visemarians were hunted down, but despite that they were not entirely eradicated/ killed off. Instead, they fled through a rift to another universe, thanks to the Vispors-the most formidable of their kind, wielders of vision magic. These powerful beings were the highest rank of the vispors they had the rare ability to open portals with just their eyes, ensuring the survival of their race in a new realm far away from earth.

The victory of mere mortals over such a potent species seemed implausible, simply unbelievable. Was it their advanced weaponry-guns, bombs, and artillery-that led them to triumph? Partly, yes. But the true catalyst for their success lay in something far more profound: determination. When humans harnessed their willpower and fought with relentless resolve, they defied the odds. The Visemarians, blinded by their arrogance, underestimated humanity's grit thinking it was simply a weak angered cry of help, hah! a miscalculation that proved disastrous for them.

But this history, though rich and intricate like a sweet taste to our buds, is merely a backdrop to our tale. The focus now shifts to a young man named Bao yuchen, whose life is on the cusp of profound change...

"Good morning, Old Yen," Bao Yuchen called out with a grin as he waved to the old man seated by the roadside, his chair creaking under his weight as he puffed on a cigarette.

"Morning, Chen. How are you today?" Old Yen responded, a thin plume of smoke curling from his lips.

"Same old, same old. Gotta hustle up some cash for food, right?" Bao Yuchen replied, forcing a lighthearted tone. The old man chuckled softly, his eyes crinkling with amusement.

"You've got this, kid. See you around," Old Yen said, waving him off.

Yuchen's smile faded as he turned away. The cheery facade he had worn dissolved into a grimace. Another day, another round of the same monotonous grind. He was exhausted, drained by the endless cycle of scavenging for cardboard and trash to sell for meager sums. On days when he couldn't sell enough, he went hungry.

"How pathetic," Yuchen muttered, the bitterness of his thoughts sharp as a blade. He was a young man with potential, or at least, that's what he liked to believe. Yet here he was, languishing in this dreary village, trapped in a life he loathed. No offense to Old Yen, but this place was a stifling cage, and he yearned for an escape.

He had often daydreamed about the miraculous scenarios from the transmigration novels he devoured in his spare time, fantasies where ordinary people were whisked away to grand new worlds. Such things were surely fiction, but the history of the Visemarians, with their tales of ancient magic and wonder, hinted at possibilities beyond his bleak reality.

A sigh escaped him as he trudged down the muddy, debris-strewn path. "Transmigration?" He scoffed at the absurdity of his own hopes. With a shake of his head, he resigned himself to the unremarkable path ahead, the familiar monotony of his life stretching out before him with no end in sight.
