Our flight was at one o'clock.
My mother was excited about this trip as she typed away on her phone.
My mother adored fame and publicity, so she made sure that we always looked like the perfect family on the outside.
Little did they know it was far from the truth.
As we boarded the plane, I felt my nerves shake, and I felt hope.
When we landed in JFK airport, I felt the jet lag exhaust me.
Luckily, I was staying in a rough motel a few hours from New York as my parents stayed in the fancy apartments in the city centre .
This benefitted my escape, though.
As soon as I got to the motel , I quickly changed into my disguise.
I covered my dark, long hair with a shorter blonde wig, and my brown eyes were now blue.
Fishing my id out of my purse, I read over the information, making sure to memorise the information.
I was now not Alina Frances-Brower.
I am now Vienna Smilther , an eighteen year old girl from the town of Myreek in New Haven with a mysterious British accent.
Then I did my makeup, making sure to completely disguise myself .
Glancing at the old watch on my wrist , given to me by my late grandmother, I realised the bus was coming soon so I hurried out of the old motel (which luckily had no security) and I hid in the shadows of the night.
Fortunately, the bus came soon.
It was old and rackety to most ,but for me, it was a golden beacon of hope and a new life for me.
"Where to?", the old bus driver asked as his cigarette stenched breath infiltrated my nostrils.
"What's the last stop?" I ask politely.
" Great Road, Texas."
With that, I hand over a few bills and head to the back with my small suitcase of belongings and a heart ready to flee.
I checked my mother's social media, and it's all pictures of her in her hotel room, and some include my father.
They're happy enough that it gives me a week to go.
I remembered to trash my room before I left to confuse people on my disappearance, and as the bus took off, my blood thrilled with excitement and fear.
But at last, I finally felt happiness.
I was making my own life at last.
