This is basically a continuation of last chapter. As I said then, I was tired and lazy, so I didn't finish it then. Here's the continuation!

20 minutes after, that whole situation, Skull finally felt well enough to leave. Him and Cobalt Blue began making their way to the others.

It was a tradition, mainly among the contestants (and Computers personal friends, of course) to go out on the town, and have fun, today. This usually consisted of going out to eat, catching up with those who they haven't seen in a while, maybe getting some drinks to fully wind down; anything to ease the nerves they would otherwise have today. It was meant to make today a fun day instead of a sad one. Computer wanted them to have fun as much as possible, so they'd try and keep having fun, in his honor.

Even though Skull was fine now, he still felt shaken up. This was nothing new, however. All the activities they'd usually do never took the thought away from his mind. That this was all in the name of his friend, who was no longer here. If Computer was here, maybe that would change. Maybe he could fully enjoy today.

He'd usually hide this feeling by faking a smile, saying the things he'd usually (ex: gaming quips), and having fun. It worked on everyone...

almost everyone...

(💎) I can tell by your face; your still upset. You sure your well enough to go now? We can wait a bit longer if you need it.

(💀) ...*sigh* I'll be ok. By the time we get there, I'll be all better.

(💎) ...If you say so...

Cobalt was still hesitant to agree. After all this time, Skull was like a brother to him. A brother he never had. So of course, he was worried about him, and wanted him to be happy. But on a day like this, it was almost impossible to get him to tell the truth.

He was miserable.

So, Blue just went along with this ruse. He still cared for Skull, and treated him with kindness and respect, but pretended nothing was wrong. Skull appreciated it, but defiantly noticed how Cobalt acted differently on this day. He really appreciated this, as he was never sure how to fix this behavior problem he had. This was the best way he knew to manage it. And with Cobalt there...

Things were fine...

He was somewhat happy...

-(sometime later)-

The two now stood in front of a restaurant; the first stop on the groups list. Only the season 1 contestants could make it tonight, but they'd still have a great time.

Authors note: I'm not sure what to call the restaurant so... give me ideas! I'll pick my fav and make it the official name of this random place!

(💎) Ah, we've made it! Didn't take as long as last year.

(💀) Heh...don't think so.

(💎) Lets go in.

Cobalt grabbed Skull's hand, and both made their way into the restaurant.

They could already see their friends at a big table. Card began waving her hand, as a waiter approached the two.

(Waiter) Ah, Skull and Cobalt, right?

(💎) Yea, that's us!

(Waiter) Lovely, follow me.

As they made their way to the table, Skull became relieved. Even when he felt so miserable, being around his chaotic group of friends made him feel a bit better. He cracked a little smile as he sat down next to Water Bottle.

(💧) Hi Skull! How've you been?

(💀) Hi too you to! I've been f-fine.

The stutter in his voice made Water Bottle pause.

(💧) ...You sure? It's ok if your not.

(💀) I mean...you can probably tell that I'm not "ok", but I'll be...I'll be ok!

Despite these words, Water Bottle was still put off. Still, she felt that pushing him would make things worse. So, she ignored it, worried she might make him feel worse.

That's it! I know I haven't updated in a while. Things got a bit odd, family's been busy (my sisters had a soccer tournament), and again, I've been a bit lazy. Also have a job, so there's that. But I'm back! I'll try and have a new part next week, at a minimum.

Also, I'm now an adult! Turned 18 on the 21st! So, there's that.

See y'all soon (hopefully) φ(゜▽゜*)♪
