It was now the next morning and thank god we don't have to film today. Me and my mom have been planning a party for Kylee, since it's her birthday in a few weeks and I'll be working on set that day.

I walk downstairs to see the house completely decorated, and it looked amazing. "Mom oh my goodness, you did this yourself?" I say shocked.
"Actually honey, Rob helped me out. Which reminds me... I have to talk to you about something."
"What is it mom?" I ask worried. "Don't be mad..I'm going out on a date tonight. With Rob." the sentence cut me deep in the heart. Dad died not even a year ago and she's already moving on?
"Mom, are you kidding me?" I say upset. "Honey please don't be mad! Rob is a good guy he wont hurt me."
"I know he won't hurt you. But you can't just replace dad." I say sadly. "Honey, you know I could never replace your father. All he has ever wanted for all of us is for us to be happy. And Rob makes me happy." She said, with a crack in her voice at the end.
"So, you won't be here for the party?" I ask, changing the subject. "No Lily, I'm sorry."
"It's okay Mom. Have fun at your date later. I have to go get Kylee's cake from the bakery. I love you." I say, still with sadness in my voice.
