Their adventure continues.

Nanami did not say a word about Souya to avoid conflict. That day, Trexox taught her how to add a friend so they could contact each other - a thing that he forgot to teach. It's easy to contact an adventurer via instant mail message, it will just appear in front of you, while in a team, you can hear each other even if you're far away.

"So... there's another class change that will happen once we're on 36," Trexox explained as they killed some bears on Hercules Hill.

"We're halfway there..." she checked her profile. "Almost." she's on level 14.

Levels determine the experiences of the adventurer because the maps in Acadia have level requirements to enter to avoid dying. But some of the adventurers are gullible enough to reach the other dangerous part of Acadia leading them to their death or loss, they were never found again. Trexox was helping Nanami, he was ahead of her, he was level 25 right now and he went on hiatus on reaching the levels until Nanami joined his phase. He wants to take her with him.

Nanami wondered if she was holding him back but the urge to have company is stronger than her emotional concern for Trexox. Might be a cruel thing to do but she wanted to live.

"We're done here, you should go back to the city. Let me know where we are going next." Trexox commanded. She nodded. "I'm going to meet someone. I bought something." She nodded again. She went back to the city without asking questions, she was curious but she always refrained from asking.

She summoned her white alpaca, it was the mount that had been given to her for free from the box. It enhances her speed by 30% so she uses it every time she travels from the city to other places. Trexox taught her that. She entered the north gate and saw a familiar face. It was Souya. She did not pay attention to him but Souya saw her. She thought that she was running fast but it turns out that Souya was faster. He was running with the same phase as hers. She sighed so she stopped.

"What?"

"Hey! How are you?" Souya asked. "Looks like you're still alive," he said with a smile.

"Are you expecting me to die early?" she bluntly asked.

"Not really, I am just worried. I don't know how you managed to stay alive this long," he said while checking on her status. The last time he checked her profile, she was still on level 10, now she's on level 14.

"None of your business maybe. I'm going now." She said then ran the alpaca, but the cuteness of the alpaca seemed to match its speed, running effortlessly, Souya was following her.

"Do you want to join our guild?" she stopped and looked at him. That was a promising offer. She never had an offer like that before.  Being in a guild that is second to the greatest is a huge thing.

"Why me?" She asked.

"'Cause you're different." Exactly. Why would she join a guild when she's different, she has to live lowkey for a while.

"That's going to be hard." She said and let the alpaca do its job. She went to the center plaza and she saw some of the higher level people just like him. She knows by just looking at them. She reported her task and received the reward items and the gold. She's earning now. She leveled up. 

"Well, I won't force you. But let me know if you're interested," he said to him. She can feel his sincerity but she can't leave Trexox alone. "I can protect you." Why would someone protect her? That's what she thought. Ever since the day that she woke up in this world, no one looked at her, no one helped her, and she was no one to everyone until Trexox came. Trexox helped her without knowing anything about her. It was Trexox who made her life easier so she has decided that she will stay by his side as long as he needs him.
