The Portal in the Mirror

Chapter 3: Laboratory, Mardun's Plan and the History Lesson

Mardun would be seen sitting on a futuristic-looking chair in his laboratory; he was on the 1st floor, as he had futuristic-looking monitors that would project out 3D and 4D images and texts. The keyboard itself would be like holographic imagery, as Mardun would be typing something on it, Fiaco would project himself as he created his own skin as he would glow blue. Fiaco would walk up behind Mardun as he would say in a gentlemanlike voice, "Father, what should be done about the mirror and the dimensional entity named Kreashura?" 

Mardun would finish up what he was doing as he would use his right hand and sweep it across over the keyboard as it would vanish. He would use his left hand as he pushes a button on the chair he was sitting on as it turns him around to face Fiaco as he would say, "Kreashura is unkillable, and as for the mirror, there is nothing we can do about it right now; we will need to make a plan to protect this planet. I can't get involved in these humans everyday lifestyles, but I can help them with Kreashura. They will have to go through this entire place to get to the mirror, but they will have to be tested to see if they qualify to even destroy the mirror. The mirror is the gateway to another dimensional plain of time and space, but I can't destroy it myself." as he says that, Fiaco would say, "Perhaps they can go through this entire place with our weapon systems on and active; if they can get past all of our weapon systems and security systems and get to the mirror, then they meet us there. It would be the perfect solution and idea, as we can tell them to destroy the mirror." Mardun would take his right hand and scratch his chin as he would say, "That may just work, but who would be dumb enough to even step foot in here is the real question." Fiaco would sit down, crossing his legs as he closed his eyes for a few moments. He would then open his eyes as he said, "There are twenty humans we can get, but it won't be easy."

Mardun would nod his head to Fiaco as he would then say, "And who are these twenty humans, and where can we find them?" Fiaco would walk over to the middle of the room, where there was a flat circular table that would take up almost half of the room, as there was a glowing blue circle around the edge of the table. 

Fiaco would take his right hand and raise it up to his shoulder as he snapped his fingers together; when he had done this, the entire table would glow blue and project images and movements. 2 people would show up on the screen, as it was Lance and Tracy. You could see Lance talking to a man and a woman, and you could see Tracy talking with investigators as Fiaco would point to Lance as he would say, "This human's name is Detective Lance Avery; he is a male and is currently aged thirty-five; he has 1 daughter; he currently lost his spouse in a vehicle accident a year before, and he is an FBI agent." Fiaco would then point to Tracy, as he would say, "That human's name is Detective Tracy Mills; she is a female and is currently aged thirty-one; she currently has no children or a spouse; she is currently Detective Lance Avery's partner as an FBI agent as well." Fiaco would snap his fingers again as 10 humans would show up on the projector, and he would start to point at one of them, saying, "This human is called John Hayes; he is a male and is currently aged twenty-five; he has a spouse and no children; he was enlisted in the military two years prior and is currently a private first class." Fiaco would point to another one as he says, "This human's name is Leonidis Ramran; he is a male and is currently aged thirty; he has a spouse and two children; he was enlisted in the military twelve years prior and is currently a grenadier specialist." Fiaco would then point to another one.

Fiaco would then say, "This human's name is Tanner Erenhault; he is a male and is currently aged thirty-one; he has a spouse and no children; he was enlisted in the military at the same time as Leonidis and is currently a rifle specialist." Fiaco would go through the rest while pointing them out, then snap his fingers one last time as 8 other humans would appear on the projector, as he would point to all of them one by one, giving details about them, then snap his finger as the projector would vanish, as Mardun would say, "Seems we do have some stupid people after all to go through this entire place to test them, so how are we going to gather them all together?" Fiaco would then say, "I can gather them, father; I can disguise myself as one of them and get them all to meet me here right outside of the door." Mardun would then say, "Very well, Faico, I will let you do what is needed; if you need me, I will be on the last floor waiting for them," as he says that Fiaco would bow his head as he would stop glowing blue as he would look like a regular human; he was bald and looked to be the age of 45 as he would walk over to the door. The door itself was a giant-looking blast door, as it would automatically open upwards quickly. Fiaco would walk out of the door as he was seen going into what looked like a hallway as the door would close behind him.
