It was 7pm and Raven had just finished dressing In the best outfit his friends money could buy. He had to wait for Larry and Ryan to pick him up. Texting Vladimir daily had become an afterthought, he would wait for him to text him today Vladimir's text didn't come though he found that odd but he didn't care too much he texted Ryan to see where they were , he got a text back instantly but not from Ryan the person he was just wondering about. Vladimir's text read "I'm so sorry my dear it's been a busy day mom's sick and I've been making sure she gets tended to. I miss you and I love you -Vlad"
Raven debated on texting back he was irritated because he really did care about being ignored all day it was something his fragile entitled ego couldn't take but he didn't want Vladimir to come looking for him so he sent a text back "it's fine we will talk later" Vladimir texted back as fast as he could "Honey , I'm so sorry I can send a car for you and we could spend some time together" Raven just wished he would go away at this point so he texted a sure way to make him go away "Vlad darling don't trouble yourself with that , don't worry I'll see you tomorrow. I love you my love" he told him what he wanted to hear and not how he truly felt but it stopped the texts thank gosh for that. Ryan finally texted back "we're outside hurry your ass you know Larry is always late for everything" he snickered and grabbed his bag of liquors and fled his trailer and went out to the jeep. He said his hellos and jumped in the back. "Hey dude" said Ryan "sup! Where's Vlad? asked Larry. Raven replied calmly "what do you mean? Ryan chimed in "aren't you two connected at the hip? Raven felt anger boiling "NO!" Larry replied "you sure dude I thought you were dating him to be honest which I fully support, pretty sure Mikes gay. Raven was definitely pissed at this point "Vladimir is gay not me I like girls he's just obsessed with me and I feel bad that's why I hang out with him" Larry knew this was the time to stop with the questions he didn't expect Raven to react that way to a joke. Ryan looked around not saying anything. Vladimir was a bit clingy but obsessed seemed a little much. The arrived at mikes house the house was booming with loud music and the all made their way inside to find their leader having some punch. Spiked punch. "Oh, welcome welcome my dear friends, look at the turn out of this party I couldn't be more pleased" they all said hello to Mike. Mike looked at the three men and questioned "it looks like someone is missing" Raven quickly said Vladimir is sick so that's why he's not in attendance this evening. Larry and Ryan looked at each other both knowing that was a lie but decided to keep quiet. Mike nodded "indeed , well there will always be other parties tell him I wish him a speedy recovery and enjoy the party yourselves per se" he walked in the opposite direction. Ryan and Larry went to look for drinks and Raven spiked the punch more with vodka from his book bag and stashed it away under a chair, grabbing a drink and looking for a lady to talk to he hadn't had female company besides Katie and Annie in a while. He was two drinks In before he found a red haired girl who was absolutely beautiful and Raven was looking to score with her, they began talking, talking led to kissing and kissing led to him leading her into Mikes back room to have some run what he didn't realize was Annie was watching what was happening. Annie was very close to Vladimir and hated the way Raven treated him because even though Raven thought his secret relationship with Vladimir was secret it wasn't Vladimir had told Annie and Annie basically told the whole group besides Mike but Mike wasn't as stupid as he looked so he probably knew too. Raven was the last to leave the party he kissed the red head girl one last time and made his exit to home. He had probably 4 drinks so he was really buzzed and looked down at his phone a single text from Vladimir "I love you, sleep well I can't wait to see you tomorrow" he grumbled and closed his phone not even bothering to reply.
Morning came the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. Raven felt like his brain was about to fall out of his skull school would be starting soon but everything hurt and he just wanted to rest so he did he slept until the start of second hour he rushed awake and put clean clothes on and hurried to school. He got glares from everyone when he entered the classroom even Vladimir he wasn't dealing with the bullshit so he wrote Vladimir an apology and laid his head down on his desk. It was ending the period and Vladimir reached for his hand he rejected it and Vladimir stormed out upset. He was a bit dramatic but Raven had just had the best night of his life with a girl he didn't want to go back now. He knew he'd most likely never see that girl so he reverted his attention to Katie he'd always liked Katie but now he had the experience to actually ask her but that would wait for a different time where he could actually think straight and 1000 Jack hammers weren't having a go at his brain.
Annie finished up her conversation with Katie and left the class. She had to tell Vlad what she had seen she knew it was going to break his heart but she couldn't let her friend suffer like that. She went outside and looked around and didn't see him so she tried to see if he was in one of his favorite places. She walked into the woods yelling out "Vlad, Vlad are you there" he climbed down from the tree and stood there "yes I'm here just blowing off some steam what's up" Annie's face was sad unlike her usual happy self this concerned Vlad "Annie? What's wrong? What happened?" Annie burst into tears she stuttered "he he he's cheating on you!" Vladimir looked at her confused "what did you say? She sniffled and wiped her tears "we were all at mikes party last night and I saw Raven making out with a girl and then they went into mikes back room for hours"
Vladimir felt like he had just felt a million bricks crash into his stomach he wanted to scream cry beat up Raven but he couldn't do anything but walk away and walk home. This was the longest walk home but he needed it he stopped briefly to delete everything off of social media, their pictures videos even his number and name. They were more than over this was unforgivable he felt stupid for not listening to everyone stupid for thinking Raven was different and stupid to think he could actually be loved.
