Chapter 1

"Two souls don't find each other by simple accident"

Phuwin Tansa looked out the window and he could spot the bright lights of Bangkok as the plane landed. He smiles, he does miss this hectic city. He left his own hometown to chase after his dream and suddenly wonder what has changed through the years. He himself has gone through quite a lot of transformations in terms of physical look as well as his sense of style. Thanks to the sudden growth spurt during the first year of college, he was blessed to a tall body frame. As well as his plump cheeks had disappeared over time and his facial features were more defined when he was turning 20 last year. Phuwin admits that quite a few people compliment over his attractive and good-looking face along his lean muscular body.

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

When he finally went out of the terminal, he noticed other families hugging and crying as they reunited with one another. He had just landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport after more than 10 hours flying. He reached for his left wrist and looked over his smartwatch. He had promised Arum, his sister, to pick him up at 10 o'clock. Phuwin sits on top of the luggage suitcase and occasionally he has yawned a few times because he could not catch a wink of sleep during his flight. He didn't know if coming back to his hometown was the best decision after his first heart break made him stay in the United Kingdom.

Phuwin shook his head whenever he remembered the bittersweet incident. He once had a huge crush on Mr Layne, his piano teacher. The innocent boy boldly took the courage to confess his feelings after he graduated from high school. Well love is all about the right timing. Due to their distant age gap which is 10 years, Layne carefully explained why he could not reciprocate his feelings and the little boy understood then. Even though Phuwin was only 17 years old, Layne can safely say that the boy was smart and mature enough for his age.

Nevertheless, the heart was made to be broken and hopeless Phuwin was determined to further his studies in music at University of Cambridge in the UK and never came back to Thailand until he finished the course.

Has he moved on? Of course. Mr Layne had long been buried down as his first unrequited love. Though he was purely upset on the day he was rejected. Maybe his unattractive appearance will not be par for a perfect Mr Layne and the age issue was just an excuse. Phuwin had always had low self esteem about his average look. Until in the second year of adapting to a foreign place, Phuwin was quite fortunate to be offered as a freelance model for a few brands advertisement and easily became an Instagram influencer with 300k followers. His schedule has been packed since then and now doing PR and modelling. Phuwin didn't mind working hard until late at night as long as he could gain audiences to support his dream to be a singer or an actor.

One week before Phuwin went back to Thailand for good, Arum announced that she would be engaged soon to her unknown boyfriend. To be honest, Phuwin was in a pure shock because Arum had swore many times that she would not get married or settle down for less. The little brother knew his big sister too well or maybe he was not? Phuwin suddenly became mellow thinking he had missed lots of things over these past years.

"Is your brain suddenly working normally? You are getting engaged if you do not realize it yet", Phuwin's hands working on his safety belt until a clicked sound was heard. Arum arrived after 5 minutes of waiting and started driving away to her apartment.

"I am one billion percent sure that I will not change my mind! I really really love him, Phuwin. He is the most perfectly handsome gentleman that exists in this world", Arum sighed dramatically.

"I still do not believe in this strange situation." Phuwin titled his head a bit as he crossed over his arms.

"I wonder if, because he is working as a music teacher, that's why I am ready to kneel down on my knees" Arum giggles while she sings along to the music on the radio.
