With the noise now at its loudest, you see something approaching through the trees.

It was growing larger and larger as it draws near.

Whatever it is, it seems to be getting closer by the second, until finally, you see what it is:

It is a huge, metal ball, rolling swiftly through the forest, crushing every plant and animal that dares to get in its way.

It is so powerful that the ground trembles beneath your feet the closer it gets,

and it really seems to be headed straight for you and Laa-Laa!

Walten widens their eyes in shock and fear, and quickly warns Laa-Laa about it.

"Laa-Laa,we need to run as quickly as we can from that, NOW !"Walten yelled.

"AHH! I can hear it! It's getting close!"Laa-Laa tries to take off running, but the giant ball seems to know exactly where Walten is and rolls straight for them at great speed.

Walten quickly realizes that they and Laa-Laa will never make it to safety in time unless Walten outruns or escapes the huge ball.

Walten tries to run away from the ball, but it is too fast and rolls over them.

The ball's huge, metal frame crushes Walten,

and the last thing they saw before they lose consciousness is Laa-Laa's horrified face as she watches them get run over by the giant metal ball.

The next thing Walten knows, they are waking up in a dark chamber with a metallic scent in the air.

What happened?

Was that just a dream, or is it something much more sinister?

Walten takes a look around, wondering where this place is.

They have tried moving, but their whole body hurts-Walten winces in pain, whilst thinking how and why they got here.

As they lie in the dark, Walten starts to hear an ominous buzzing sound in the distance.

"Ugh..Not again..."

The buzzing grows louder and louder as they listen, until it finally reaches a deafening pitch.

Walten tries to cover their ears, but the noise is so loud that it cuts through Walten's fingers like it was made of knives.

Soon, the sound is so strong that it is all they can feel.

Every cell in Walten's body shakes in fear, and their eyes are forced shut by the immense pain.

The last thing Walten had felt before everything goes black is the sting of metal against their skin.

Walten eventually wakes up after what felt like an eternity of pain and darkness, to find themselves lying on a steel table.

Walten feels dizzy and weak, as if they have just gone through the unthinkable.

As Walten's eyes adjust to the dim light, they begin to make out their surroundings.

Walten is in a vast chamber with steel walls and floors, with rows of identical steel tables lined up in a grid against the walls. At the far end of the room, there is a large, metal door, with a strange mechanical sound coming from directly behind it.

Walten starts listening to it,wondering what it could be.

The mysterious noise continues for a while longer, before finally stopping. As silence settles around them once more, the door at the end of the room opens suddenly, revealing a room full of massive, metallic machines.

The machines whir and hum with an ominous energy as they come to life, and their mechanical arms begin moving towards Walten's position.

They move slowly, but there is an intense, unnatural strength in their movements. Walten is not sure what will happen next, but Walten senses that it will not be good.

In a flash of inspiration, Walten managed to get off of the table and make a mad dash for the exit. But Walten's luck runs out, and they are quickly tackled to the ground by one of the metal machines, its cold, steel hand wrapped around Walten's throat.

Walten struggles to get free, but the machine is far stronger and more durable than they could ever hope.

Walten's attempts to escape are soon put to an end as an ominous red light flashes in the machine's eyes.

Suddenly, a large metal arm springs out of the machine, and starts to move towards their chest. The arm moves closer to Walten, the machine's red eye flashing with cold, mechanical hatred.

The machine's faceplate opens, and a horrible voice speaks to them.

It is an unfamiliar one, but there is no mistaking the malice in its tone.

"Why did you leave the testing facility?" it asks. "Why did you try to escape?"The machine presses the arm closer to them.

The air is thick with tension as Walten was left with no choice but to answer.
