Tae is laying on the queen size bed lost in thought he don't know how did he end up here from forest he just know that he want to be alone and his feet got him here and thus Tae end up in his chamber.

Tae is still wearing those clothes he just laying on his stomach staring into nothing his heart is thumbing wildly inside the rib cage as only one face is coming infront of his eyes.

Those soft smile of Jungkook and his eyes filled nothing but only lo- no Tae is refusing his mind to acknowledge those emotions which are swirling in Jungkook's eyes.

Tae's heart melt when he saw that 17 years old Iu but his heart also clenched in pain seeing her condition the terrified look on her face that fragile shivering body and fear in her eyes.

Tae is good observer so it didn't took him a min. to understood what kind of thoughts Jihoon have, he was mad at that time because after marrying to Yuna Jihoon clearly said that he will only loyal to her indeed he fall for Yuna so having other bed partner didn't set well with him ( Jihoon ).

But promise are meant to be broken right Tae married to Jihoon before Yuna so he become the Empress Tae never have problem Yuna being married to Jihoon.

Tae have very preserved nature he only care about those who care about him so that's the reason he is quite closed to Park couple.

As an older brother he also care about Yuna but not that much he just stay preserved rather than spending time with others, Yuna and his relationship is like normal brother and sister he never invade in her life neither she as she know her limits.

So mostly not all royal enemy kingdom's ladies or girl don't end up servent it's because of their ego they choose to be mistress rather than being a servent and treated low but this is not the reason why Iu didn't end up being servant, it have 2 reasons 1st one is Tae as you already know and 2nd reason is Jihoon yep.

The first time Jihoon saw Iu he became blind in her beauty but he restricted his mind to think something like that because of the vow he gave to Yuna so he just got Iu in Park kingdom.

But Jihoon could not able to see the condition to Iu as the she live in dungeon for some days nope Jihoon didn't fall for Iu he lust on her first so he decided to keep her as her concubine.

He never let anyone know his dark thoughts about Iu not even Yuna he kept it as a secret and Tae was also not present in Park kingdom as he was in kim kingdom that time so was Yuna so that was a perfect opportunity for Jihoon.

Indeed Tae faught against Lee kingdom with Jihoon like a ideal Empress but he didn't saw Iu that time, he just faught and when they got victory he was called to Kim Kingdom immediately so he rushed there leaving everything in Jihoon's hand.
