Finally! My loves bugs and I are taking a trip to Japan. We've waiting too long to catch up and
take a vacation. Over a year, but we finally made it out of the group chat. Meeting after meeting,
day after day. I've been stressed and busy. I'm so happy to finally be able to relax and take a
break. As I carry my son and lug my bags around the airport. We finally make it to the section
where we board. I spot Zu and Lia, my closest friends since high school. As they waved their
arms dramatically calling me over. I see a little figure running right at me. My Niecey poo Mina.
"Auntie Em!" she screams . I put my son down and he makes a run for it to his aunties. I pick up
Mina. "How you been ladybug?" I asked her continuing to walk over to the girls. "I'm good I
missed you so much." she said giving me a big hug wrapping her arms around my neck. once I
make it over to them, I see my son Miron Giving Zu a hug and big sloppy kiss on the cheek. I
smile and give a little pout. He is such a little ladies man. '"I've missed you too babes! Has your
mommy been being good for you?" I asked side eyeing Lia with a smirk played on my lips. She
rolled her eyes with a smile and tilted her head at Mina. Mina looks her mom then back at me.
"No she wouldn't let me have any iced cream this morning." she said with a pout. I gasp
dramatically and squinted my eyes at Lia. She sucked her teeth " Little girl you know you're
lactose intolerant. You would be highly upset if I let you have ice cream before getting on the
plane." I look at Mina with raised eyebrows and small smile. She snapped her fingers with a
sassy head motion and jumped off of my lap, then did a little dance over to Zu and Miron. After
catching up with the girls and taking a picture or ten with the kids it was finally time to board
the plane.
We load up, take ours seats, and I slowly begin to fall asleep. Before I know it I'm waken by a slap
to my face. I jolt awake my eyes wide as i look to my side I see Zu smiling widely trying to hold in
her laugh and on her lap I see Miron who is giggling uncontrollably with his hand raised above
his head . I glare at the both of them and look across the isle and see Lia sleeping peacefully. I
play a mischievous grin and whisper "Her next."
An hour or so later, we've reached our destination. As we are heading to our bags I trip over my
feet and run into something extremely hard. So hard I nearly feel on my ass but was caught. I
look down and see black dress shoes, I then look up and realize I'm face to chest with a tall
brown skin man. I gawk at him for a second as I notice his long locks up into a neat bun, his
black glasses hanging off the bridge of his nose, and finally smooth chocolate lips in between
his teeth as he looked at me with concern all over his face. I quickly collect myself closing my
mouth, sliding out of his arms. his grip on me seemed to tighten a little, almost like he didn't
want to let go but his did. " I'm so sorry I should have been watching my step. Are you okay?" I
asked looking up at him. Geez he is tall I thought to myself. He smiled at me with raided browns.
"I'm fine sweetheart, I should should be asking you that." I shook my head and waved my hand
dismissively "I'm fine trust me, I've been through worst" I smile and pick up my foot to take a step
away to head back to my group. He grabs my hand quickly looking down at my shoes. I look
down to see what's got his attention and notice that my shoe is untied. As I bend down to tie it
he places an hand on my shoulder stopping me. I look over to my group and see Zu and Lia
smirking in my direction with the kids and bags in hand. I look back at the man who is already
down on one knee looking at me, as we make eye contact he stares HARD. " So we can prevent
another accident like this.." he picks up my shoe laces looking me dead in the eyes and says "May I?"
