So, the reader (You) in this story is actually based on the protagonist of the popular game Hollow Knight. A vessel that is designed to trap 'The Radiance' in its body to seal it away forever. I've taken this concept and plan to hopefully integrate it well into the world of Kimetsu No Yaiba.
I'm aware that some ties in this book do not exist in canon, but honestly, I don't particularly care. That's what fanfictions are for. It's fiction. This sword, refined to perfection by the predecessors of the Ubayashiki family to gift to the vessel deemed to seal Kubutsuji away. This ancient blade only reveals its true form to those worthy. Hitting an enemy with it generates SOUL.

Dream Nail
Allows the wielder to cut through the veil between dreams and waking. Can be used to reveal hidden dreams of demons before their death. The power of the Dream Nail has fully awoken, allowing entry into certain protected memories.
SOUL BREATHING.
First Form - Focus
Focuses collected SOUL to repair your skin and heal damage.
Second Form - Vengeful Spirit
Conjures a spirit that will fly forward and burn foes in its path. The spirit requires SOUL to be conjured.
Third Form - Desolate Dive
Strikes the ground with a concentrated force of SOUL. This force can destroy foes or break through fragile structures. The force requires SOUL to be conjured.
Fourth Form - Howling Wraiths
Blasts foes with screaming SOUL. The Wraiths requires SOUL to be conjured.
Fifth Form - Shade Soul
Conjures a shadow that will fly forward and burn foes in its path with great damage. The shadow requires much SOUL to be conjured.
Sixth Form - Descending Dark
Strikes the ground with a great concentrated force of SOUL and Shadow. This force can destroy foes or break through even the strongest of structures. The force requires SOUL to be conjured.
Seventh Form - Abyss Shriek
Blasts foes with screaming SOUL and Shadow, causing great damage. The Wraiths requires much SOUL to be conjured.
