Opposites Attract ~ OC x Izuku Midoriya

Ch. 1

Izuku would often daydream about his future, the possibilities of his life was endless. More specifically—he would zone out at the thought of having a lover, who they would end up being; if it would be love at first sight—or something different.

It was the middle of Izuku's first year at U.A. Things were going smooth; he had amazing friends, a good class, and a steady mindset. Yet, Izuku felt he was missing something—or someone. Izuku started daydreaming yet again; his mind wondering to the possibilities of someone he would be lucky to call his partner.

Class 1-A was chatty, per usual. Izuku tuned them out, just waiting at his desk for Aizawa Sensei to start the day—his fingers tapping melodically against his desk as he muttered to himself—a habit of his.

It didn't take long before Aizawa walked through the large door to 1-A, his usual tired expression on his face. He entered with a tired sigh, closing the comically large door behind him as he scanned over the class briefly.

"Settle down."

Aizawa spoke in his gruff, exhausted tone; walking over to the podium in the front of the room. The class's chatter died down, the only sound now being Aizawa shuffling through papers—which was a little odd. Izuku had snapped out of his daydreaming state; his attention on Aizawa. Impulsively, his gaze flicked to the door to the classroom; a shadow of what seemed to be a person on the other side made Izuku squint.

Aizawa cleared his throat, tapping his fingers against the wooden podium for a moment, before speaking.

"I'm just going to cut to the chase—today, we have a new student joining our class."

The class erupted in curious and confused whispers, Izuku just sat with a brow raised—why had someone join in the middle of the year?

"Quiet. I understand it's the middle of the school year, but, he was recommended due to recommendations. He took the tests, therefore he is liable to be here."

Aizawa explained, before looking at the door.

"Come in."
