I cant belive it

After an hour past and my dad finally left my room, I was eating my dinner that my little brother brought up for me and he was just hugging me tight while I was eating my food.

"Alex are you okay" he said in a worried voice.

"Yes Theo I'm going to be find don't worry about me" I smiled at him

"Is your food nice I helped mom make it and it's even your favourite, a chicken salad" he look at me with the biggest smile ever, he was so proud of himself

"Yes, I love it soooo much, it's delicious" I replied and smiled back at him

*a few hours pass

I was getting tired but I didn't want to go to sleep so I decided to look at who was going on tour and see if I could get some tickets.

As I was looking I noticed sleeping with sirens was going on tour and I look at where and it was literally so close to where I live!!!

"OMGGGG" I screamed and my mom came running into my room

"Are you okay what happened!?" She said in a concerned tone.

"Mom pleaseeee can I see sleeping with sirens, please" I begged her hoping to get a yes

"You do realise you are 20, do whatever you want as long as it's with your own money and you're safe" she said and walked back to her bedroom

I never understood why I can't do whatever I want because I am an adult but my dad still treats me like a child and beats me everytime I do something wrong and he always has ever since I was a little girl, but I don't want to move out yet because I've got to protect Theo from getting hurt.

I checked my bank account and noticed I had enough money so I texted my friend Charley and asked if he wanted to come to the concert with me.

Alex: charley!!!!!

Charley: yes???

Alex: wanna go see sws with me???

Charley: UMM HELLO YESSS!!

Alex: okayyy yaaaayyy! I'll text you more about it tomorrow, byeee :)

Charley: byeeee :D

I jumped in enjoyment, I'm going to see my favourite band, that has saved me so many times.

I looked around at the posters of them on my wall and cried a little with joyful tears.
