As he waits for Nancine to arrive, Prince Eris continues to look around the room, his eyes taking in every detail. He picks up your brush, running his fingers over the smooth surface, a mixture of emotions on his face.

A few moments later, Nancine arrives, her expression wary. She glances around the room, taking in the sight of Prince Eris and the guard. "You wanted to see me, Your Highness?"

"Yes," Prince Eris replies, his tone harsh. "Can you explain to me why the runaway princess' belongings are all over this room?"

Nancine's eyes widened in surprise, her mind racing to come up with an explanation. But before she can say anything, Prince Eris cuts her off. "Don't bother trying to deny it," he snaps. "It's clear that Princess Genevieve was staying here. And you lied to me."

Nancine remains silent, her lips pressed together in a tight line. She can sense the anger and impatience emanating from Prince Eris and knows that she's in a precarious situation.

"I'll ask again." Prince Eris continues, his voice low and dangerous.

"Where is she now? Was she that woman that left in a hurry out the back door?"

Nancine swallows hard, her mind racing to find a way out of this. The last thing she wants is to betray your trust, but she also can't stand up to Prince Eris's powerful presence. "I..." she starts, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know, Your Highness."

Prince Eris's eyes narrow, the expression on his face darkening further. "You don't know." he repeated, his voice dripping with skepticism. "Are you lying to me again?"

Nancine falters under his intense stare, her courage wavering. She knows that lying to a prince could have severe consequences, but she also doesn't want to expose you. "I'm not...I'm not lying," she stutters, her voice shaking.

Prince Eris studies her for a moment, his expression hardening. "You're withholding information," he snaps. "You know where she is, or at least where she went. Don't make me get the truth out of you by force."

Nancine pales at the threat, her heart hammering in her chest. She knows that Prince Eris is powerful and feared, and that he is not beyond using force to get what he wants. But she also knows that she can't betray you. "Please, Your Highness...I...I can't tell you." she stammers, her voice barely audible.

As Prince Eris prepares to press further, the sound of your voice cuts through the room, loud and angry. "PRINCE ERIS! THAT IS ENOUGH!" He turns towards the door, surprise flickering across his face as he sees you standing there.

You stand defiantly in the doorway, your body tense and your eyes burning with anger. The sight of Prince Eris in your room, with your belongings scattered around, only fuels your rage further.

"What are you doing here?" you demand, your voice shaking with fury. "How dare you question Nancine!"

Prince Eris is stunned into silence for a moment, surprised by your sudden appearance and the venom in your tone. But he quickly regains his composure, his own anger rising to meet yours.

"How dare I?" he retorts, his voice harsh. "You're the one who ran away just days before our wedding! Who do you think you are, disappearing and worrying everyone who cares about you?" he steps closer "The wedding is tomorrow, we must go."

Your eyes narrow as he approaches, your body tensing even more. "I'm not going anywhere with you," you say through gritted teeth. "I don't want to marry you when you obviously been sleeping with Lady Lucidia behind my back!" you take Nancine's hand and pull her closer to you.
