The week flew by in a whirlwind, and before she knew it, Sunny found herself boarding a plane bound for Italy. Despite her nerves, she was filled with excitement at the thought of reuniting with her beloved grandma. With her headphones on and the music from her MP3 player filling her ears, Sunny was able to lose herself in the melodies and the long flight felt like a mere blur. Stepping off the plane, she was immediately struck by the breathtaking beauty of Italy. A warm smile lit up her face as she spotted her grandma waiting for her. Together, they loaded Sunny's suitcases into the trunk of her grandma's car before setting off from the airport. The two chatted animatedly, catching up with each other as they made their way to their destination. The mention of her grandma baking Sunny's favorite cookies brought an even wider smile to her face, and the anticipation of devouring them later in the evening filled her with joy. After a long day of unpacking, Sunny finally settled down, feeling content and grateful for the opportunity to spend time with her grandma. As she drifted off to sleep that night, happiness and a touch of weariness washed over her.

Marcus's POV
Restlessness plagued my brothers and me. The scent of our mate lingered in the city, tantalizing us with its alluring fragrance of roses and lilies. It was a sweet torment that consumed our thoughts and stoked the burning thirst within us. We yearned to meet her, to have Heidi arrange a tour of the castle in the hopes that she would grace us with her presence. Amidst our turbulent anticipation, Caius and I struggled to contain our primal desires, while Aro, though more composed, was equally consumed by the longing to finally meet her. After deliberation, we decided to swiftly arrange the castle tour for Wednesday, eager to bring an end to our relentless yearning for our mate. In the meantime, distractions proved ineffective as we found ourselves immersed in thoughts of her - her smile, her essence, every minute detail swirling in our minds, intensifying our craving. The persistent ache in our throats served as a perpetual reminder of her irresistible scent. While attempting to busy myself with a book, it became increasingly clear that this girl had ensnared our thoughts, a captivating presence in our minds that I couldn't seem to shake off. Meanwhile, Caius, driven by his desires, entertained thoughts of more intimate connections with her. Feeling compelled to act, I resolved to fill the time by preparing for her arrival. Taking Dimitri along, we embarked on a mission to procure essentials for her. From clothes and toiletries to home comforts, we meticulously filled our cart, eager to ensure her comfort. Upon returning, the rest of the night was devoted to creating a welcoming space for her, leading me to the realization that our preparations should extend to securing the services of cooks and acquiring the necessary kitchenware for her future needs. The morning was already well underway, the sun bathing everything in its warm glow. Instead of heading outside, I found myself inside, counting each passing second alongside my brothers. Our bodies were filled with an intense sensation of longing, an unquenchable thirst that made our throats feel like they were on fire. I paced the throne room, begging the day to move faster. The fire in my throat was a constant reminder that our mate was here, in Italy, but out of our reach. I was growing agitated and needy. In almost three thousand years, I'd never felt this. I'd never felt this, not once, but everything changed once our mate stepped foot into Italy. I needed her, we all did, but what was one more day? What was it truly, in the eyes of three thousand years?
Third person POV
Sunny awoke with a start, rubbing her thighs together. She had had the most intense dream she could have ever felt. Three pairs of hands were pulling, tugging, and touching everywhere. Three lips connected to her neck and her shoulders, leaving a trail of fire in its wake. Her panties were noticeably wet, and she shivered. How could one dream make her feel... This? She could still feel the hands and lips of the strangers from her dream, no matter what she did. She felt the ghosts of hands and lips on her, and she didn't know who, or what was making her feel that way. She rubbed her arms, the skin prickling under her touch. She got up and then grabbed some clothes from her dresser before walking to the bathroom. She turned on the hot water and then got undressed. Even here, in the safety of her grandma's bathroom, she could feel eyes on her. Once she got into the shower, she felt a sense of security. As she showered, she couldn't help but bite her lip at the thought of her dream. It was so real, so vivid. Nothing compared to it. She continued to shower for thirty minutes, lost in her thoughts. Once she got dressed, she and her grandma went to a restaurant nearby.
Aro's POV
Marcus, Caius, and I got together with the guards to figure out who would be best to lure our mate away from the throne room during the tour. The throne room was where we fed on the tourists, and our mate didn't need to be there. We would be at our worst, our thirst uncontrollable. Dimitri offered, and said he would feed tonight so he could handle her scent. My brothers and I contemplated this, and agreed. We would have to go out tonight to get him a pair of contacts to cover his eyes. We dismissed the meeting, and then spent the rest of the night thinking about what color contacts Dimitri should have. He would be allowed to explain vampires so our mate would know what she was walking into. We didn't want her to get caught off guard.
