The flight to Japan Isn't as eventful as Hazel is expecting it to be, but boy, leaving the safety of her plane sure is. The whole plane ride she spent thinking about what Hayao might have in store for her, but now? She couldn't spare it a second thought. She is expecting crowds, alright, but this...? She has to stop and stare for a moment, because she's certain all of this is not for her, and it appears she may be correct. When she steps down from the flight of stairs, cheers intensify, and she looks towards where all the eyes are staring. Ken Sato. She thinks fate might just be fucking with her, but she doesn't have enough energy to care anymore. Then, their eyes meet, and it's amethyst against emerald, but she looks away before he can do more than wink. Well, Maple is sure to lose her mind once she hears about this. And Hazel hopes on all that there is that no one caught that. But knowing how the internet works, someone probably did.

All around her, whispers continue and she is so beyond grateful that her security guards seem unfazed, but she just wishes a familiar face would pop up from somewhere, she needed that sort of comfort. It's overwhelming, with all the fangirls and all the cheering, and yet when she looks towards Sato's way, he seems to be relishing in it, truly. And she thinks that itself is a superpower. Hazel almost feels bad for him, but the more she looks at him, she doesn't.

Anyway, she doesn't have enough time to linger on that, so she doesn't. Instead, she follows her guards, letting them lead her way, into her ride, and it's like Sato is everywhere she goes. As she's entering her car, he's passing by, and his smile is so bright, and it's shining. If she thinks she was any more dramatic, she'd be saying 'it's blinding me!' but of course, she doesn't, she isn't like that. As soon as her door slides shut, the voices outside grow much quieter, and she's sighing in relief.
