Haechan hesitantly opened the door only to be faced with a nervous looking Jaemin.
Once Jaemin saw him he immediately lowered his gaze in shame.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that I-I don't know what got over me"
"It's ok, but how about we go back to our seat. Somebody may walk by and misunderstand the situation "

They both walked quietly back to their seats. And you could say Haechan felt somewhat disappointed?
I mean it's not like he was expecting something, right?
Once they sat down Jaemin chuckled awkwardly before speaking.
"How come you're going to Lille?"
"Want a new start. I Don't have the best memories in my hometown. You?"
"I got a scholarship, thought it was time to explore the world a bit"
Silence engulfed them again, the only difference this time being that it was not as awkward. It was like that brief talk they had shared had already brought them closer.
The next few minutes passed like that until Haechan decided to check his phone.
"It's 3am. I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight"
"Goodnight"
The lights switched off. They were supposed to go to sleep, but Jaemin couldn't keep his eyes closed for more than a second. His mind fluded with images of his carage mate. He felt a strange feeling in his stomach, something he had never felt before. Jaemin was weirder out but eventually fell asleep to the soft sound of the train on the racks.
