The next day, I was downstairs helping my mom. It was the weekend, which is usually when I stay with my dad. But he told me I couldn't come over anymore. I kept cleaning the house with my mom, and then my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Lacy calling. I picked up, and she told me she was free and wanted to go to the mall. I told her to come and pick me up. I hung up and told my mom that I was going out. She said, "Go have fun and don't stay out too long."
A couple of minutes later, Lacey and I were at the mall. We went to different stores and did some shopping. Then we went to the food court and got something to eat. As I was eating, I saw Alexander and Tiffany with a few others. I got jealous, even though I don't know Alexander that well. They were sitting at the table behind us. Lacey saw them and said she wanted to move. I agreed, and we took our food to another table.
Tiffany shouted, "Oh, it's the freaks who got my coffee wrong!" I turned around and said, "Excuse me." Tiffany said, "You heard me." I replied, "Yes, I did. It was that loud and annoying; I couldn't miss it." I then walked off and went to the table to finish my food. Lacey laughed and said, "Wow, you stood up to that cow." I giggled with Lacey.
I looked over at the table and saw Alexander looking at me and winked. I slightly blushed. Lacey said, "Why have your cheeks gone red?" I said, "Oh, it's nothing," trying to pull it off, but she didn't believe me.She looked over to where I was looking with a shocked expression. "Alexander is making you blush," she said. I tried to deny it, but she went on, "He is, isn't he?" I put my head down and mumbled a reluctant "yes." She slapped my arm and warned me, "Don't fall for him, he's not the one for you." I nodded, but deep down, I knew I was falling for him, even though I had only met him twice. I snapped out of my thoughts and suggested, "Let's do more shopping."
A few minutes later, Lacey was at her favorite shop, but I didn't like going in there, so I stayed in the middle of the mall where all the seating was. I was looking around, minding my own business, when I heard someone shout my name. I turned to see who it was and it was Alexander. He came closer to me and said, "I saw you looking at me at the food court." I stood and faced him, denying it, but he insisted, "I saw you and you were blushing as well, princess." I looked at him and said sorry. I thought to myself, "He called me princess again." As I was stuck in my own thoughts, he came closer and whispered in my ear, "You look gorgeous." I froze at this comment, wondering what this man doing to me. Then he told me that he was having a party tomorrow at his place and invited me to come. As I went to speak, he walked off. I saw Lacey walking towards me. She didn't look happy, and I was confused about why she was upset. When she was near me, she shouted, "Why were you talking to him?" I said to her, "I'm sorry, but he wasn't mean to me and he invited us to a party." She replied, "We are not going. It involves drugs and alcohol." I sighed and tried to persuade her, but she wasn't having any of it. We got in the car, and she turned to me, saying, "If you do go to that party, I won't be speaking to you. I don't want you to get your heart broken by him."
