✨ CHAPTER-52 ✨

Next day, Y/n and Jimin went to Daegu to meet their mom. They spent their time with only happiness. After 3 years, Y/n was feeling genuinely good. Actually after 3 years, she met her mom. In these days, no thought of Taehyung came in her mind. Jimin was also happy to see this. He thought that finally her sister is moving on. They spent 2 weeks there but now it was time to go back.

Time skips ~

They reached New York. Y/n and Jimin again started going to office. Everything was going well until one day when Y/n heard 2 employees talking about Taehyung.
Guy - You know Mr. Kim Taehyung is currently in New York.
Girl - Yaa I know. And I've heard that he was Ms. Park's boyfriend.
Guy - Yaa but they just broke up.
Girl - So sad.
She heard there conversation and just ignored them and left.

Next day -
It was a hectic day for Y/n as Jimin was busy attending a meeting at some other company and Y/n has to handle the whole office alone. It's not that she is doing it for the first time. But it's been so long since she had handled the work all alone and also the work was too much this time.
She was ready to go home and was going towards her car. When suddenly someone held her wrist.
Y/n - Wtf?
Taehyung - Shh don't curse.
Y/n without saying anything jerked her hand from his hold and went from there. But Kim Taehyung being Kim Taehyung, he went after her. He was walking behind her while talking.
Taehyung - It's a unknown cuty and you should not roam like this all alone. It's not safe Y/n. Well you became more prettier these days. And guess what we accidentally matched.

Taehyung - Remember the first time we matched and what I said just made you blush?

Taehyung - You noticed we accidentally matched today?
Y/n - Yeah actually! Well that's nice.
Taehyung - Anyone can think that we are couples.
Y/n didn't say anything but blushed. Her cheeks turned red.

Y/n didn't say anything but left out a sigh. She was completely ignoring him. Yeah she was hurt inside but she was just showing that these things don't affect her anymore.

Taehyung - Well. I know you missed me.
Y/n looked at her and just left with a smirk.
Taehyung came running behind him. She finally reached to her car.
(A/n - Her new office is so big. It took a while century for Y/n to reacher the parking area)
Taehyung - Y/n. You know how much I missed you in these years? Even my mom dad missed you too. Well nvm. Now we met again. After 3 damn years. But now worries...
Y/n - TAEHYUNG! FIR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE JUST SHUT UP.

She yelled at him as now she was not able to hide her emotions. From outside she was angry but from inside, broke. She didn't said anything further, sat in her car and drove away from there.

Taehyung - I'll clear everything Y/n.

Y/n's POV -
I got to know he was in New York but I was just relieved that he hasn't shown up yet. But today, he just came infront of me. Acting like nothing has happened. Does he know what things I faced? How difficult these 3 years were for me? I don't want us to get together again. It's enough for now.

Y/n's POV ends.

Soon she reached home but Jimin did not. She was waiting till 11:30 pm but no sign of him. Now she was just getting worried. She told Jimin to call her if he gets late but he didn't do that. So she herself called him but he was not picking her calls.
She sat on the sofa waiting for him and didn't realise when she fell asleep.

Next morning -
She woke up and saw Jimin lying in the couch beside her. She quickly woke him up.
Y/n - Oppa wake up. Wake up. When you came last night? Were you drunk?
Jimin - Hmmmmm. Let me sleep. (He said in a sleepy voice)
Y/n - No just wake up. And fvck. It's 10 already. We are late oppa.
Jimin - 5 minutes more.
Y/n without thinking anything threw a glass of water at his face which was kept at the table and he just fliched.
Jimin - Wtf?
Y/n - Just wake up and get ready.
Jimin - Aish this girl!

It was 11 when they reached office. Everyone was staring at them like 'How a CEO can be this late?'
It's okayyy guyssss CEOs are also humans and they can get late. It's not a crime or anything else.

They were sitting in their cabin doing there work when their assistant knocked at their and when they allowed, she came inside.
Assistant - Someone is on the call waiting for you sir.
Jimin - Name?
Assistant - He didn't tell his name.
Jimin - Okay. Y/n just wait here. I'm coming.
Y/n - Okay oppa.

He went to attend the call.
On the call -
Jimin - Hello.
??? - Hey Jimin. Remember me?
Jimin - Who are you?
??? - Your best friend.
Jimin - I don't have one.
??? - That line hurted a lot but nvm. It's me Kim Taehyung.
Jimin - Wth do you want?
Taehyung - Can you please come to my apartment to meet me? Please?
Jimin - Sorry I can't.
Taehyung - Please or should I talk to Y/n directly?
Jimin - Uhh fine. I'm coming.
Taehyung - Good.
Jimin hung the call and directly went to Taehyung's apartment after informing Y/n that he needs to go for some work.
