Thank U all for joining me in my second book.
Unknown Pov:

"THAT UNGRATEFUL BRAT!!! I'll kill him!" Ahzi Dahaka screeches from his spot in our tiny and reclusive cave.

I nod unimpressed as I continue to sharpen my khopesh. Unfortunately I didn't have the joyous opportunity of encountering Little Beast.

Leader Ahzi Dahaka did though.

I couldn't be prouder. Three years to teach the worthless maggot no mercy has apparently paid off.

If only he hadn't of been stabbed. I wish I could've had the honour of ending my pupil's life. I would've gotten the final point of our useless battle of wills.

"I sssswear, once I get my coilsssss around him he'll-"

"Not to interrupt your conniving but you don't want to rush into another situation like the last time you faced. Little Beast has a tailed Beast and that ridiculous eye the alchemists gave him. You are not in a situation to attack him either."

His body has had to got through several healing spells and dark rituals just to reach this point of instability.

I'm assuming his mind hasn't fared any better than body.

Especially since he's been off his addiction for eight years.

Eight years. You'd suppose that one would move past fruitless addictions to a child's blood. Apparently not.

Then again, little beast was rather delicious.

The mixture of violence and determination and hope. It was quite interesting a flavour. Better than the little hybrid fairy girl or the spineless werevamps.

"You dare." He hisses outraged at my reasonable input.

"Leader, I mean no disrespect. You know I'm loyal. You know how much I hate our army. You know how much I enjoyed torturing them. But you need restraint as a faithful follower at least allow me to advice in picking your battles."

I only need the leader for one thing; his sacrifices. After that I'm happy to leave him to his boring conquering dream.

It's an unbalanced need as he requires soldiers that can think for themselves, well, that can fight for his cause.

I provide his wannabe army and he provides me (albeit unknowingly) with power so I can follow through on my own agenda.

"Your opinionssss are unvalued and unnecessssssary, pet. I will have my weapon ready when the time comesss. The vermin will know hisssss rightful place and join my sssside when he realissssesss." He spits.

"You are correct Leader. I'm sorry I stepped out of line." I bow low, forehead touching the ground while silently chanting every curse I have for him.

Let me tell you; I know a lot of curses.

My big brothers and sisters taught me well.

"Very well pet. I will forgive you for now. But jusssst know, I do not need you!" He glares before plunging into a lake of black sludge.

The dark rituals should heal his body over the course of the next three days.

Day one: bathe in virgins blood.

Day two: drain the immortals of their spirit creatures.

Day three: take a sphinx's voice and absorb the intelligence.

Those three things should be able to recover the great sun consumer.

As an immortal being he will never be 'killed' simply left to slumber in immense pain.

So proud of Little Beast. I taught him well. Can't tell the brat that though. He and his beast will get a big head and slip up when the inevitable fight between us escalates.

I want him primed and angry. It'll make one hell of a match.

Obviously I'll win but I want to face a slight discomfort in my win.

I suppose it was lucky that Kemon's most powerful element is fire. And that 'tainted god eye' was surely the cause of his inhumane reflexes. Afterall Ahzi Dahaka's greatest strengths are improved senses, god speed, durability, areokenis, pyrokensisis and strength. There's no way on his level he managed to play him.

Almost as if he was bored.

Impressive Little Beast.

But you didn't send him to his slumber like Thraitauna, the Iranian king that created the line of Kavis king's.

I drop the stone I'm using to sharpen my blade and pull out a jar of basilisk blood.

Never give anyone an upper hand in war. Leave your opponents in the unknowing; get every advantage you can get.

Poison is called the cowards way.

I call it a piece on the board. Use it and manipulate it well enough and the king will fall.

"I'm coming for you Little Beast." I grin.
