Gwen carefully folded the last of her clothes and tucked them into her suitcase, a smile tugging at her lips as she recalled her visit to Camp Kikiwaka last year. She had gone to see her friends Emma, Zuri, and Ravi, and the memories of those sun-soaked days filled with adventure and laughter had stayed with her ever since. She loved the camp so much that she decided to return this year—and this time, she invited Luke to come along with her.

As she zipped up her suitcase and placed it by the door, Luke strolled in, leaning casually against the doorframe with a smirk.

"Got everything ready for tomorrow?" he asked, his eyes scanning the packed bags.

"Yep, all set," Gwen replied with a grin. "I can't wait for you to see Camp Kikiwaka. You're going to love it. It's like... everything you'd want in a summer. Adventures, campfires, crazy challenges—it's the real deal."

Luke raised an eyebrow. "You sure about that? I'm not really the 'singing-around-the-campfire' type," he teased. "Sounds more like your thing."

Gwen laughed. "Oh, come on! It's way more than that. Besides, you might surprise yourself. I bet you'll be the first one up there leading the campfire songs."

"Not happening," Luke chuckled. "But I'll take your word for it. What else did you do last year? Any good stories to share?"

Gwen's eyes lit up. "Well, there was that time we went on a night hike and Ravi swore he saw Bigfoot. He screamed so loud, half the camp woke up!"

Luke laughed, shaking his head. "Sounds like I'm in for a wild time."

"Definitely," Gwen said, her smile widening. "And who knows? Maybe you'll make some friends too."

Luke shrugged. "Maybe. Or maybe I'll just spend all summer beating you at archery and canoe races."

"Oh, you're on," Gwen shot back playfully. "But don't cry when I leave you in the dust."

As they laughed and bantered, the anticipation of the adventures ahead made the air between them buzz with excitement. This summer at Camp Kikiwaka was shaping up to be unforgettable.

In the morning everyone was getting ready to leave for summer camp.

"Hurry up! The limo is here to take you to summer camp. And remember, don't call or write." Bertram yelled. "Come on, come on, come on."

"I can't wait to see my friends at camp! I got presents for all of them!" Emma giggled.

Gwen came upstairs, knocking on Luke's door. "Oh, presents? Is there any for me?"

"Of course, you are my best friend, Gwen," Emma said as the two girls did their secret handshake.

"Oh, how thoughtful! All you kids have ever given me is an ulcer." Bertram rolled his eyes.
