Dear Michael,
I would like to write the cheesiest greeting I could ever think of: Believe it or not, I cannot imagine a world where you aren't a part of it. Would you find me silly if I consider you more than a popular artist or the greatest entertainer who ever lived? You are more than that. You are more than a superstar on screen. You are my living hope that embraces my fragile body in the dark; a distant lover who keeps me up all night and a kind friend who understands my worries and I would like to keep it that way. Michael, you made my life worth living. I won't be the woman I am today if it weren't for your ambitious and courageous ideals to reject the fear of being a catalyst for change. It brings me so much joy to dive into your world, celebrate your timeless achievements and mourn for the dreams that you could've have. No one could ever understand the love I have for you in this lifetime, Well no one has even dared to try it yet but it would've been so beautiful to let another kind soul to know you. I promised myself to pass down the language of truth and dismantle the tainted view that the media built for decades. The legacy you've constructed out of blood, sweat, and tears are worth fighting for to this very day.
Wherever you are right now, I pray that the you are genuinely happy and at peace. May the heavens grant you a kinder life up there, you deserve every single inch of it. Sixty six is such a lovely and lengthy measure of life and it would've been so different if you were here with us right now. Michael, I wanted you to know how grateful I am to have someone like you in my life. It is such a pity that I cannot see you alter the world today and make the idea of war a non existent segment as I would be so selfish to have that kind of wish in exchange for your eternal peace. I hope you are having the most fancy celebration up there my love. I want you to know that I love you forever and you will always have my beating heart forever and always.
Much Love,
Germaine
