Note: Don't forget to listen to the song above.

"Y/n"
He called for her, trying to feel her presence beside the place he slept, his hands patting the soft surface searching for her.

He quickly raised his head looking around, his eyes slightly opened.

"Y/n"
He called again but a little louder this time. Groaning over the void of her absence he sat up in bed wondering where she was. With a little shake of the head, he walked towards the bathroom, expecting her there.

But disappointed cradled him as he looked at the empty space. Did she already leave?

His eyes observing every little detail of the room he was asleep a few minutes before, everything seemed perfect, like she had cleaned up.

Wandering around the little corners of the room he looked at the empty kitchen, but everything of his questions subsided as he saw. Saw the note that was hanging in the freezer.

"Need to get early to work, your breakfast is inside the oven."

Jimin sighed in relief as he read the note, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He could almost hear Y/n's voice in the words, feeling the warmth of her care even in her absence. He opened the oven and found his breakfast neatly wrapped, just like she always did. The sight of it brought him a strange comfort, like a thread holding together the frayed edges of his mind.

As he sat down at the kitchen table, eating the meal she prepared, he tried to recall their last conversation. The details were blurry, like a foggy dream that slipped away each time he reached for it. He could remember her laughter, the way her eyes sparkled when she spoke about something she was passionate about. But the specifics? They were lost somewhere in the labyrinth of his thoughts.

After finishing his meal, Jimin found himself wandering aimlessly around the apartment, his fingers trailing along the surfaces she had touched. It was an ordinary day, but something felt... off. He couldn't place it, but there was an unease creeping in, a sense that something was missing, or that he was forgetting something important. He shrugged it off, deciding that he was just tired.

Stepping into the living room, he noticed a photo of them on the shelf. Y/n's smile was radiant, her arm wrapped around his waist as they stood by the seaside, the wind tousling her hair. Jimin reached out and picked up the frame, staring at it for a long moment. The memory was vivid, but there was a strange disconnect, like he was looking at someone else's life. Why did it feel like that day was a lifetime ago?

The sound of his phone ringing snapped him out of his thoughts. He quickly put the photo back on the shelf and answered the call. It was one of his friends, checking in on him. Jimin tried to focus on the conversation, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Y/n.

"Have you seen her today?" his friend asked casually, unaware of the turmoil in Jimin's mind.

"She left early for work," Jimin replied, his voice steady, but there was a nagging doubt creeping into his words. "She's probably busy."

His friend's response was muffled as Jimin's gaze wandered back to the photo. He barely registered what was said before the call ended, and he was alone again, the silence of the apartment pressing in on him. With his thoughts pressed around her, he sat on the sofa remembering how he met her.
