From the angle of the rays of the sun she estimated it could be around lunch time. She was alone. She sat up and winced a little. Her right hand hurt and she started to feel the aftermath of the hours of last night's reunion on her body as well. Still, she felt happy and content. The master bedroom had his own bathroom with a generous bath tub and a state-of-the-art steam shower. She stepped inside the cabin and took a long hot shower. When she was finished, she walked to the massive mirror cabinet and looked for a toothbrush. It was her lucky day, she found an unopened one.

Loki was in his study on the first floor, in the middle of a very boring meeting with a bunch of incompetent traders when he heard the shower running. He smiled and logged off after giving them instructions. He went downstairs to the kitchen and started to make breakfast for Flóra. He finally slept like a baby and woke up early, completely refreshed. He didn't need as much sleep as humans and wanted to run through his calendar to see what meetings he could skip. He ordered some fresh bakery products and fruit delivery from the local shops that arrived within an hour. He knew how much Flóra liked fruit salad and he bought all her favourites: watermelon, honeydew, strawberries and cherries. He was almost finished when he heard her footsteps on the stairs. He had to remind himself to slow down to human pace.

Flóra borrowed one of his shirts and boxers, then headed to the ground floor. She heard Loki slicing something in the kitchen. She was wondering if he would be himself or his human-friendly version. She was a bit relieved to find him looking like a regular mortal. She still wasn't fully accustomed to the whole "Loki situation" as she called it. He was wearing a white Henley top with blue jeans, barefoot as usual. He was slicing a honeydew melon like a pro.

'Good morning!' she said and stopped at the door, looking at selection of food on the kitchen counter. 'Wow! Are you expecting guests?'

'Good morning! No, this is for us. I didn't know what you wanted, so I got a little bit of everything you like.'

'I can see that.' Flóra smiled.

She walked over to him and stood on tiptoe for a kiss.

'Slept alright?' he winked.

'Yes, sir! I do feel my hand, mind you.'

Loki laughed.

'Let me have a look.'

'It's fine!'

'I could heal it.'

'I thought you are not allowed to use magic.' Flóra said and hopped on a kitchen stool.

'Well, it wouldn't be really me if I hadn't found a way around it.' he winked and popped a slice of watermelon in his mouth. 'You look lovely in my shirt by the way.'

'Thanks.' she blushed and poured herself some orange juice.

Loki's mobile rang just then. When he heard the ringtone, he frowned.

'I need to take this. You go ahead. I might be a while.'

He walked through the kitchen, out to the terrace and closed the door.

'Brother?'

'We have a problem.' Thor roared.

'Speak.'

'Guess who RSVP'd to the after party.'

'Your mother?'

'Very funny. No, Theós. He said he has, and I quote "an excellent business opportunity" for us. See? This is exactly why I was worried about our numbers.'

'Oh, relax! He might be bored of good old South America and wants to return to his roots. What better way to start than the UK?'

'I am worried. Coming over, I'm five minutes away. We need a plan. Remember what happened back in 1888?'
