Chapter 10. (showing signs).

A week later , everyone had gotten over the death of saffron .
but Ryan still felt the loss.  He  missed the squeal of happiness after seeing a new shoe or a new clothes or anything. He missed spending money on trivial things.

But again he knew  the goddess of the wolves  would give him another mate and the moment they meet he'll totally forget about saffron.
he didn't want that but no one wanted to anger the Lord of the wolves.  sighing he hoped he and his mate didn't meet too early for he still dearly loved saffron.

Alas, that was not the main issue on ground. The king had given Tiberah a month and she had not began to show any wolfish traits. Today was Monday and on Friday would make it a month he was really worried.

maelle ,dracon, Maynard , Desdemona, Dylan and Tiberah  were at the table in the cafeteria.
They  had ordered food and were waiting for the food.
"so the spring night dance festival is coming up ". Dracon said. Desdemona shifted closer to maynard and held his arm. "Darling you are going with me right ?". he thought in his heart. "do I have a choice?" .

sitting up he said with fake enthusiasm "oh  yeah I guess"
she turned over to Tiberah."Hey t-meow,".

Tiberah looked at her "I really hate that name." Desdemona rolled her eyes. "whatever so who's taking you to the ball?". Dracon and Dylan said "me" at the same time.

They looked at each other. Dracon was snarling and Dylan was smirking. Tiberah rolled her eyes. That seemed to be the least of her problem, she was more interested in what was happening to her. She had this crazy craving to eat meat at that instant. When the waitress brought their food, everyone else had meat by their food except her.

They began to eat Except Tiberah. She looked longingly at the plates of meat. Dylan and maelle noticed this but maelle spoke up first. "Here you can have mine".

Tiberah looked up at her but maelle avoided her gaze and continued eating. Gingerly Tiberah took the plate of meat and and picked up the fork. Putting one in her mouth get eyes widened and she began to eat ravenously.

Everyone at their table stopped and looked at her. Looking up she grabbed Dracon's plate of meat and began eating in a hurry. Dylan's brows furrowed. "Um ti you good?". When she raised up her head they all say still in shock. Her eyes had that same lava like color dracon had seen days before. It was there for about 5 seconds. Then it vanished. Desdemona was shocked. "T.. ti.. wh.."

Tiberah wiped her mouth clean and wondered why they were all looking at hr like that. "What is it. I was hungry so why are y'all looking at me like I'm growing a third eye?" Shaking their heads, they resumed eating. They all smiled secretly, seemed like she was a wolf after all.

The only two people who seemed bothered were Dylan and maelle. That color. Their eyes met and they both figured they were thinking the same thing.
Dylan thought. "I have to see her brother about this".

****A day later***

Ryan was overjoyed when Dylan reported Tiberah Incident to him but when he heard the other part of the story he wasn't sure how to feel.

"She had lava like eyes and you know the only wolf with the eyes of fire is the great tekoa the fire wolf. Dylan said.

Ryan nodded."yes so that means the great spirit of Rudolph the ice wolf is near?" Dylan shrugged his shoulder.

Ryan went to report to the king. The king was also worried but he decided that Tiberah could remain in colony 6.

The night of that day was the spring night dance festival. Tiberah was happy and somewhat sad. A little happy because get friends were going to be there. And sad because saffron wasn't here no one was going to fix her make up.

Someone knocked on the door, standing up she went to see who was at the door. Opening it she saw that it was dracon.

"Hey um are you free?" He asked.
She squinted her eyes. "Yeah I guess..""

Without waiting for her answer to be completed he pulled her out of the house.
Pulling her hands away she said in confusion and somewhat annoyance "where are you taking me?"

He smiled. "Somewhere c'mon..".
Rolling her eyes she went back inside to pick up her bag, locked the door and headed towards him. "Well?.. are you going or not?"

**At Dracon's house**

"Mum..mum.. dracon shouted as he entered with Tiberah. "Oh will you stop shouting like I'm dead!" Tiberah looked up and saw a very beautiful woman in get mid 40s or so coming down the stairs. She was so beautiful. Getting to Tiberah, Luna sihilel smiled.

"Darling girl has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?"she said and Tiberah who was never flustered found herself blushing gently.

Dracon chipped in. "Of course I've t..". Luna sihilel shot him a glance that shut him up. She tsked. "How rude.. come my lovely child. It's the spring night dance festival surely you have a color in mind that you want to wear. You'll be sure to say it when the colors are being picked"

Tiberah smiled saying "black". The Luna queen nodded and walked away. Desdemona came down and saw Tiberah. She squealed and dragged her up to het room.

Meanwhile scarlet had been watching. Smiling wickedly she said. "Black right?.. you'll see if dracon would even look at you this time around" she said and walked away.

It was time for the color picking. The tall lady said to the girl beside Tiberah. "What color?" She smiled "Blue.. powdered blue". Nodding she came to Tiberah and said "what color?" Tiberah answered "black".

The woman looked down at her book and said. "Oh I'm sorry the color black has already been chosen by another group".
Maelle and Desdemona looked up. They were supposed to wear black too since they were a group.

Tiberah looked forward and saw scarlet smirking at her with a black dress in her and and saw two other girls with black clothes who didn't seem to happy about it. Apparently she had forced them.

She moved towards dracon and showed him the dress. He smiled gently and nodded.
Apparently the queen had been seeing all this and motioned to Tiberah and the rest. "Follow me my lovelies I have the perfect solution".

***The queens closet***

Tiberah darling. "Wear this one trust me... They'll fix the make up.. something dark and cool I suppose?" The queen said.

Tiberah nodded. She smiled internally. She liked the woman. She didn't know she was a queen because nobody had told her she was surrounded by wolves yet. Even if she was already showing signs they had to tread carefully. They knew of her trauma and would not want to trigger the uncontrollable.

So for now she just assumed dracon family was very rich.
She knew what Scarlette was up to. Was she in a mood to play games? No.. she didn't think so. there was no way she'd engage in scarlette childish nonsense.

Looking at the green gown, her eyes became a little watery. She didn't know why. But somehow that green reminded her of someone.

Hey sweetchumses.. if there's anything like that. I am so sorry I should have posted yesterday since on Sunday. But I kinda traveled back home from school so... Yeah I'm home now.

Honestly wishing I didn't come. Parents can be so frustrating and blood sucking. Just joking I love my mum and dad.... Sometimes...
