Suzuki's POV.
Walking up to the entrance of the final selection I see all the other applicants there already. I count about 29 here. Walking closer I see a girl about my age she had blonde hair, the ends turning into a grayish blue with bright blue eyes, and she was pretty tall, about 5'8, she was absolutely beautiful, so I walked up to her.
"Hey, Im Suzuki Mori." Talking to the girl.
"Hii!! I was hoping to make a friend! Im Nami Koda!" She stated.
"I was hoping to make a friend as well. Im a bit nervous but my master said I can do this and I trust him." I reply.
"My master said the same. Would you like to partner up together?" She asked.
"I would love to" I said smiling looking up at the taller girl.
"Attention everyone, I'm Kiriya." One stated.
"I am Kanata, we are happy to see you made it to Mount Fujikasane! This is where Final selection will take place." Kanata stated.
"Surrounding us is Wisteria, flowers that are poison to demons." Kiriya said.
"Inside the Wisteria Barrier are demons. Your task is to survive 7 days in there." Kanata said.
"On the 7th day you will turn here" Kiriya stated. "Your test will begin now"
"We wish you the best of luck" They said in unison.
Walking into the forest it was dark and chilling I could feel the demons, waiting for the a perfect chance to pounce on us. I walk deeper into the forest, I feel eyes watching me.
"Do you feel that Suzuki- chan, it's unsettling.." Nami whispers.
"Yes, I feel it they are everywhere. We just have to evaluate and stay calm" i said gently.
Just as I said that a demon from above came down in front of us.
"Such a sight to see!!!! Two pretty girls in front of me..." the demon said with excitement, "I bet you guys taste absolutely divine"
"Nami- chan stay back, this one is mine." I whispered to her while taking out my sword.
"Would you look at that, you really think you can defeat me! HAHAHAHA" the demon cockily laughed.
"Oh I definitely don't think, I in fact know. Such a disgrace roaming here all high and mighty. Your finished." I said with hatred. "Nature Breathing: Fourth Form, The beginning of Dawn" with this I launch towards the demon sending small slices all over its body. This fills the demon with anxiety giving me my opening. "Nature Breathing: First Form, Captured Vines" I whispered as I go for the demons neck quickly and efficiently. As the demons head fall to the floor I watch as it starts to disintegrate. My face showing nothing but disgust.
"Godness Suzuki-chan! That was incredible! Your breathing style is Nature! I have never heard of that before!" She said jumping up and down "My is Breathe of Music. Im Uzui Tengen's Tsuguko. He is the Sound Hashira and I took after him but I changed it up a bit!"
"Haha! Yes I do, I created my own as well which is probably why you never heard of it! Breathe of Music sounds so amazing as well! I would love to meet this Tengen guy." I said with a smile and walking along side Nami.
"That sounds like a great idea, Lord Tengen is so amazing and flashy! And can you believe, he has three wives!" Nami stated getting excited.
"Three!!!! Seriously thats so many! But hey let's find a place to camp out while we get to know each other" I stated quietly.

Third Person POV.
As Suzuki and Nami find a good place to camp out together they begin to get to know each other. They each started to deeply care and like one another considering the interest they share. They both like to try new things and when Suzuki told her about her addiction towards iced coffee Nami immediately wanted to taste some. Suzuki told her about Isamu and how he was her first very best friend, and as any else would react Nami was concerned about Suzuki considering Isamu was a tiger. This soon caught the attention of numerous demons, but both girls slayed them together, they knew they were a great team.
Suzuki also learned, mainly because of her breathing style, that she loves music. Nami went on and on about how music can be loud or calming and is always helpful to her when in different moods. Suzuki thought back to the song she was singing to herself before coming to final selection, the same one her mom sang to her. She always felt calm when her mom sang it to her, such a beautiful song.

~Time skip~

It was the last day. They fought and decapitated every demon who came in their path. On the way out they encountered a demon. They felt it, this one was strong. They both knew what they had to do, taking out their nichirin blades.
"Ohh~ seems like you guys don't even want to talk me out of killing you..." the demon laughed "Not like like you'll survive anyways" It's tone dropping to a cold one. "Blood Demon Art: Poison Acid."
With this the demon began to spit the acid out of various spots of its skin and mouth shooting at the two girls. Acid going on the ground and trees they noticed it burning when hit, they knew they couldn't get hit with that.
"Breathe of Music: Third Form: Silently in tune." Nami quickly but quietly launching at the demon slicing the demon in numerous areas. When the demon caught sight of her he quickly kicked her back into a tree, leaving Nami to let out a pained gasp.
"Nature Breathing: Sixth form, Peace with the trees." Using this Suzuki quickly went over to Nami to bring to somewhere she can recover. "Control your breathing Nami, I'll hold off the demon until you can recover a little" Suzuki said calmly.
"Thank you Suzuki, I'll be there to back you up in a second" Nami said with a smile.
With this Suzuki ran back to the demon knowing the calming state she put him in wore off.
"Nature breathing: Third Form, Leaves of Doom" Suzuki said quietly. She knew she had to atleast land one hit on the demon for the poison to work. She sped towards the demon slashing at him getting multiple hits on him. She countered knowing the poison should work soon fighting him with close range. But the demon getting a quick hit on her sending her backwards throwing her off.
"Blood Demon Art: Acid Reflection" As soon as he was about to attack someone countered it.
"Breathe of Music: Fifth form, Divine Notes." Nami stated blocking the demons path and hitting it with numerous attacks "Come Suzuki, let's do this!" Yelling loudly.
Coming up from behind the demon, Suzuki whispering "Nature Breathing: First Form, Captured Vines" Jolting at the demon slicing its head off.
Suzuki and Nami standing side by side watching as the demon disappears. "We did it Suzuki!!" Nami says happily.
"We did, come Nami let's get out of here." Suzuki says with a gentle smile on her face.
Walking side by side they walking back out of the forest to where they first meet. Bruised and battered they see only themselves and 3 others. It was unfortunate but reality.
"Congratulations you five for passing the final selection" the two small girls said in unison.
"Before you go you will get your measurements taken for your uniform. As well as your rank" Kanata stated.
"Since you are new demon slayer you're at the lowest rank, Mizunoto" Kiriya said.
"Coming now you will each receive a crow, they will let you know when you have to go on missions and for communication." While Kanato was speaking a crow flew on their shoulders.
"Hi little guy, my name is Suzuki Mori, let's name you Koro." Hikari says smiling and petting the head of the crow.
"Lastly you will pick an ore for you Nichirin Sword. When picked you may leave and your sword should be delivered to you in 15 days time." Kiriya said.
Quickly finishing up with the other tasks Suzuki goes up to the box with the ore filled inside. Closing her eyes she sense the one she should pick. Upper left hand corner one felt right to her. It was small but she knew that was the one. Handing her ore to Kiriya she walks off toward Nami who has already finished. Walking together Nami begins "I guess will have to part ways, I need to go to Lord Tengen and I bet you have to go to your Master."
"That is correct Nami, but we should definitely meet up again soon, I'll write to you so we can, okay?" Suzuki turning to look at Nami.
"That's a perfect idea Suzuki!! I will see you soon!" Nami said.
Hugging each other a goodbye and parting ways to go to their respective Masters!
