3rd person

It was Halloween at Godric's Hollow. In a house invisible to everyone's eyes, James and Lily Potter were in their living room with their two children: Harry James Potter and Orca Lily Potter. Surrounded by the warm and comforting light the fire provided, the two children were playing with their toys, a stag, a wolf, a dog and a rat.

There was a knock on the door and James sent a nervous and scared glance towards his wife.

"Take the children upstairs." He told her as he slowly crept towards the large, wooden door with his wand in hand.

Before he could reach the door, a large bang echoed around the room as the door caved in on itself. Outside there stood a menacing figure with a sweeping black cloak. Even though James couldn't see his face, he knew who it was.

Voldemort.

The person who was after his children.

The person who they were hiding from.

James couldn't help but dread what happened to Peter, their secret keeper. Something dreadful must've happened. Poor Peter. James thought to himself while imagining the torture Voldemort must've put him through to tell him their location.

A blinding red light hit James right in the centre of his chest and he dropped to the floor, his circular glasses dripping and breaking.

Nudging the limp body with his boot, the ominous man glided up the stairs. His smooth and light gait caused barely any noise as he ascended the stairs to the nursery, where Lily was comforting her children with tears drowning her pores after she heard a body thump to the ground and assumed the worst.

The door creaked open and Lily spun around while training her emerald eyes onto the blood-thirsty man. An identical red light to the one he used for her husband hits her and she falls to the ground with an ear-piercing scream.

Voldemort strode over to the crib where a boy with messy black hair and emerald green eyes was crying silently as he looked down at his mother's form on the ground.

However the girl with heterochromia eyes (one the same green as her twin's and one a deep brown), ivory skin and burnt brown wavy hair was glaring at the man. Her eyes held a mix of emotions including anger, coldness and a promise for revenge. Emotions way too complex for a child her age.

The man raised his wand and muttered a quick, "For the betterment of our cause." Before he sent a flash of poison green towards the children.

A few minutes later, a man well known to the family with grey eyes and messy black hair, unusual since he prides himself on his hair, barged into the house. He saw James' body lying on the floor and collapsed on his knees next to him. "Prongs. Prongs wake up. James, this isn't funny!" The man begged desperately while he shook James' shoulder desperately.

Another man with scars across his face, golden eyes and light brown hair rushed in.

"Moony, go check on Lils, Bambi and Prongslet." Sirius ordered and Remus gives a quick nod before bounding up the stairs to the nursery.

"Pads? Siri! Voldemort! He was here!" James shouted with panic seeming into his tone as he remembered the events that just unfolded.

Together, Sirius and James sprinted up the stairs and into the nursery to see Remus slowly helping Lily up. There was a black cloak that formerly belonged to the now vanquished dark lord abandoned on the floor in a lumpy pile.

However, when they look towards the crib, there was only one child there. The boy with messy black hair and emerald eyes now had a red and raw scar in the shape of a lightning bolt.

A scar that can only be acquired by dark magic.

When they realised the girl was missing they could swear their hearts stopped beating for a second.

Remus could feel a growl build up in his chest while his eyes flashed. His wolf was getting angry and distressed at his missing cub.

James and Lily could swear they felt their hearts stop. Their darling daughter. Missing. Probably dead.

Sirius could feel anger brewing as he looked at the empty spot and without a word he set out with Remus and James following behind to see if they can find any trace of Orca.

Unbeknownst to them. That night a girl with one green eye and one brown eye, burnt brown hair and a scar identical to her twin's appeared on the steps of a muggle orphanage called 'Wool's Orphanage'.

She only had four things with her. A lilac blanket with 'Bambi' sewed along the bottom, a wooden figurine of a stag, a bracelet with her initials with an emerald in the 'O' and a note saying her name: Orca Lily Potter.
