𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓱𝓪𝓭 𝓪𝓵𝔀𝓪𝔂𝓼 been there for him.

Since kindergarten, elementary, middle school, hi—.

Wait, that one's a lie.

"Izuku..." you sighed, sitting on the wall surrounding the pond. "I know this isn't the right time to say this, but..."

The green-haired boy shook the water off his notebook and wearily smiled. "No, say what you were going to say."

You sighed again, looking into his deep emerald eyes. "I'm moving country."

Izuku Midoriya stopped smiling and looked straight at you. "What."

"I'm... moving country, Izuku..." you repeated, trying to keep a straight face.

"No, no, I heard you." He said, his breathing getting heavier, faster.

Your eyes widened. "H-Hey! Izuku, breathe!"

You held out an arm, but he slapped it away, to your surprise.

"Get the fuck away from me!" He screeched, making your heart sink.

"Wh-What...?"

"You heard me!" He yelled again, so you quickly turned around and ran back to your house.

Unluckily, on the way back, you bumped into the one person you hated most.

Katsuki Bakugo.

"K-Katsuki...!" You yelped as he grabbed your collar.

"You ran off with that Deku again, eh, Shrimpy?" He sneered, letting you go. "What got you in this state, huh?"

He frowned as he said the last part, taking in the tears welling up in your eyes. You never cried. At least not in front of him.

"Oh, come on, don't tell me Deku said something to you?" Katsuki raised an eyebrow, prompting you further. "Tell me, 'cause you know what will happen if you don't."

"I..." you started, then sighed. "I told him I'm moving country, and he didn't take it... nicely."

"Really?" Katsuki asked, amused. "Then what did he say?"

"To 'fuck off'." You murmured.

Katsuki's eyebrows raised. "Those exact words? To a joke?"

"It's not a joke, Katsuki."

His crimson eyes widened. "Wait— Fuck— Shrimpy, you're actually moving?"

"Yes..." you sighed.

"O-Oh..." he whispered, looking away and shoving his hands in his pockets.

You see, you had been in Katsuki and Izuku's duo as a kid, but things took a wrong turn once Katsuki got his Quirk. You defended Izuku, and faced the consequences.

So, obviously, it stung a little that one of his childhood friends was leaving for good.

"Why... though...?" He asked, voice surprisingly soft.

"Work opportunities... in the UK..."

Katsuki's eyes widened once again. "'UK'? Fuck, that's far."

"No shit." You rolled your eyes, and Katsuki growled softly.

"Hey, Shri— (L/N)...?" He asked, awkwardly scratching behind his neck. "Can I, like, get your fucking number or whatever— Not like I want to be friends or shit—"
