8 , talking and asking

     DAYS GO BY, and suddenly it's the new year. all of his trip he had been messaging samira, even calling once. you could say they've gotten closer.. very close.

yesterday marked the end of sharky trip. he waves his family goodbye and takes the long flight back to his home, where ava, chunkz, and the rest of the beta squad had already come home now.

he's now home, all unpacked and hanging out with the whole beta squad, ava, and samira.. gorgeous, stunning, samira.

ava and niko have gotten closer. he can tell by the way niko looks at the petite girl, very overprotective of her now. they're all hanging out at the beta squad house, sitting in the living room and having fun.

he can see ava blushing, talking to niko. he practically towers over her, even when they're sat.

"ava.." samira taps on her shoulder, raising her eyebrows at the obvious pink staining her sun kissed cheeks.

"yea?" ava asks, turning around from where she was sat beside chunkz, obviously flirting. niko has his arm draped behind her, subconsciously playing with her long blonde hair. i watch as samira raises her eyebrows, pulling ava away into another room.

"so, niko.. looks like you've really warmed up to ava the past few days.." kenny smirks in his signature british accent, wiggling his eyebrows. niko just laughs, but his cheeks flush a bit.

sharky tunes out the conversation, not paying attention until samira and ava enter the room again. they hang out for hours, until it's time to go. sharky leads samira outside to her car, leaning against it as he talks to her.

"so, samira.. i was wondering if you'd.. like to go on a date with me sometime? maybe to the new italian restaurant downtown?" i ask nervously, but mask it with a smile.

samira blushes, staring up at me even though we're almost eye level. "i would love to, sharky. i've really enjoyed talking to you these past few days.." she says, and now it's my turn to blush and be all flustered.

"perfect, how about tomorrow at 6? i'll pick you up, since i got my car back from the shop." i laugh, and this whole moment feels so natural. there is absolutely no awkwardness, instead just affection. i have so much love for her, and id only met her around a week ago..

she smiles warmly, mirroring my loving gaze back to me. "see you then, sharky." she kisses me softly on the cheek, cupping her hand gently around my jaw. i blink and she's already in her car, waving me goodbye.

i stand there in shock for a bit, all i can think is 'what the actual fuck just happened..?'
