Walking hand in hand in the middle of the field. Faye stopped in her tracks and give her attention to the pale woman.
"Yo's Café" Faye said
"hmm? what about it?" yoko asks
"The sign board. Why did you put a sunflower on it?" Faye asks holding both of her hands
Their hair was flowing along the wind
"That's the thing we never talked to. We failed to communicate and asked each other's past. But i really wanted to ask you so badly about your necklace before but I got scared"
"Scared about what?"
"Scared that my brain would hurt" yoko confessed
"When I met you, my heart beats so fast that I got scared. My head started to ache, your necklace reminds me of this field but I couldn't remember anything. It was all a blur"
Faye wiped her tears
"We can take it slow okay?" yoko nodded
"But the café" yoko stared at her
"I designed it like that hoping that I would remember something whenever I see it but I just can't. That's why when years passed by, I got used to it"
Faye move her thumb caressing her cheek
"It's okay Yo. As I said earlier, we can take it slow. It doesn't matter if you won't remember our past okay?" yoko nodded
"The important thing is we have each other now, I have a feeling that now is our right time and our right right moment" Faye kissed her forehead gently
"Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally" yoko said
"And thank you for finding your way back into my arms" Faye hugged her feeling each other's heartbeat
It was getting dark but the full moon that appears gave them light. Faye examined Yoko's face carefully, tracing her fingers into the pale woman's forehead, her thin eyebrows, her cute nose, and her lips.
Faye grab Yoko's jaw and kissed her tenderly.
"Now that I found you, you're not allowed to go anywhere without me. You're stuck with me, understood?" yoko said sternly and Faye nodded shyly
Yoko kissed her cheek, she was caressing the wounded cheek with her thumb
"We both have a scar" Faye said
"We are. And it's perfect" yoko said smiling
"You are perfect" they said in unison
They were surprised and looked at each other and laugh heartily throwing their heads backwards
They continued walking around and reach the small house near the entrance of the field.
"Dear, what would you like to eat for dinner? Oh, we have guest" A woman in her 60's asked Faye warmly and smiled when she saw yoko beside her
"Hi Nana" Nana was Faye's old nanny when she was young and she is now the caretaker of the field along with her husband
"Goodevening ma'am" yoko greeted her and bow
"Oh dear. Please come in" she welcomed them inside her cozy house
"Uh, Nana. Where's Papa?" Faye ask her still holding Yoko's hand
They sit on the small couch inside the house, Nana's daughter served them coffee
"Thank you Charlotte" Faye gave her a smile
