CHAPTER 13🌻

Before Faye and her family moved to the US, her Nanny promised her that she will take care of her land. At first, her husband did not agree but Nana wanted to have a normal and peaceful life away from the business world.

Nana told her husband to make a simple house inside the field, he couldn't say no.

They would visit the place from time to time but Nana loved the place because she found solace. She asked her husband if she could stay there and he agreed and even let his daughter to live there. Their main house became the vacation house instead.

"How long are you guys going to stay here?" Charlotte ask the two

Faye and yoko did not answer and look at each other communicating through their eyes

Faye nodded in understanding and answer Charlotte

"We will stay here for a week and maybe go back to states after" Faye smiled and yoko played her hands

"What about building a house inside here after your wedding?" Nana asks them like it was a normal question

Yoko's ear perked up and sat up straight

"Now, she's listening" Papa laugh at yoko

"That's a good suggestion Ma'am" yoko smiled and leaned back at Faye's chest

"Call me Nana dear" she smiled
"And call me Papa. I feel like I'm in a meeting when you're calling me Sir" Papa face Palm

"And do call me Sister in-law!" Charlotte raised her wine asking for cheers

Yoko nodded and raised her glass

Faye was silent the whole time and yoko sensed it

"Is something wrong?" yoko asked

"Marriage is a bit fast" Faye said and loosened her hugged at yoko

Yoko pouted and her eyes were glistening

"Are you having second thoughts of marrying me?" she asked sounded weak and look down

"W-what?! N-no! Yooo" Faye panicked. It was not her intentions to make her sad

"Then why are you saying that marrying me is a bit fast when we should be planning our marriage by now. You are already old, I mean We are already old and 15 years is so long being away from each other" yoko cried and was about to get off from her lap but Faye hold her tightly

The three was just looking at them smiling

"Yo, I'm not doubting okay? I just wanted to make everything right"

"You are still calling me Yo" yoko pouted

"Because I haven't asked you properly" Faye scratch her nape. Glancing at her family who was pretending to talk to each other

"You can ask me now" Yoko crossed her arms

"Yo-"

Yoko put her finger on her lips

"Ask me now or you will never have your chance" yoko warned her and faye nodded afraid that yoko will go

"Be my girlfriend " Faye ask her holding her cheek

"Yes!" Yoko nodded and kissed her girlfriend shamelessly

"Well, that was fast" Papa said and laugh. Nana slapped his arm but she was giggling anyway

"Hehe" yoko scooted at Faye's neck and the photographer blushed as she was trying to hide her face

"Awwww. I wish engfa is here" Charlotte was daydreaming again about her hot boss
