It had been about two years after weirdmageddon had happened.
In those two years, Dipper and Mable would visit gravity falls. Stan and Ford adventured through the seas together. Soos and his girlfriend, Melody, took great care of the Mystery Shack. Everything was looking up.

That was until they found..
It.

Soos had found... it.. outside the shack and immediately called Stan and Ford for help.

☆~~~ With Stan and Ford! ~~~☆

Upon getting Soos' call, the pare immediately made their way back to Gravity Falls. They packed a few bags, figuring they'd stay a while. They walked through the old town, talking about everything, nothing, and their old memories about their time there.

However, Ford seemed slightly distant.

Stan looked at his brother in slight confusion. "Uh, Ford, is something up?" Ford snapped out of his day dreaming.

"Huh? Oh uh.. well in all honesty, I'm slightly concerned about what Soos why Soos called us here. He sounded incredibly stressed on the phone." Ford fiddled with his pen, trying not to bite it like he usually does.

Stan sighed. "It'll be fine, and hey, even if it is serious, we dealt with a world ending demon once before! I'm sure we'll be completely fine!" Stan jokingly punches Ford's arm. In reality, Stan was also a bit worried. Soos had sounded so... scared.

It was fine, it had to be

right?

☆~~~ At The Mystery Shack! ~~~☆

The shack was closed, however Soos and Melody were still there. Soos pacing the wooden floor, as Melody tried her best to comfort him.

Suddenly a knock interrupted the two.

Soos rushed over to the door, fixing his hat quickly. Soos swiftly opens it to both Stan and Ford. Soos sighs in relief, wiping the sweat on his forehead.
"Oh thank goodness it's you, dudes." Soos said in mild easement. "It's uh.. over here." Soos continued, waving the pair over to a box covered in heavy junk.
Ford examined the box for a moment before carefully taking the junk off. Setting it aside, he slowly opens the box.

Inside sits a book.

Ford stands in horror staring at the cover. Leading Stan to walk over to his brother in a slight worry and confusion.
"Uh, Poindexter, is everything alright?" Stan looks at Ford for a moment before turning to whatever his brother was seeing. Then it hits him.

The Book was black, it looked somewhat wet and dry, like it was oozing some kind of liquid. On the cover laid a what looked like a mix of gems, the most noteworthy was a mix of spinel and ruby. In the shape of the demon they thought they defeated, red as freshly spilt blood.

Admittedly, Stan gasped softly, eyes going wide. In a voice no louder then a pin dropping, Stan asks "Is that..." leading to a soft nod from his brother.

"But... but it can't be! I saw him crumble like a dry sand castle right before my eyes!" Stan almost yelled furiously.

"It has to be another one of Bill's tricks... either that, or some evil prank..." Ford replied.

Melody spoke up quietly "I'm sorry to interrupt but... how do we get rid of this thing? Soos and I tried everything we could think of! Burning it, throwing it in water to ruin it, attempting to feed it to a pig, everything!" She furrowed her eyes in worry.

Soos spoke up "Yo, maybe you dudes can try throwing it into the pit?" Ford picked up the box, nodded, then headed outside. Marching over to the bottomless pit. Stan and everyone following rught behind him.

Once there Ford threw the box down the pit, watching it fall.

It was easy... too easy, Ford thought. Ford headed back to the shack. Started looking for a moment, before finding what he was looking for.

Ford picked it up from the porch. Lifting up for everyone to see. It was that damed book. Ford sighed. "Seems like normal ways of getting rid of this... thing, don't work. I'll need to stay in order to study this more..." Stan nodded in response.

"I'll go call our hotel to arrange a few more days then planned." Stan headed inside for the phone.

It took what felt like weeks just studying that book, what he figured out is the book can infect other books if left alone with them for too long, the spine also seemed to be made out of real human spine. As he researched, Ford made sure to insert his own writing in warnings, to hopefully keep anyone away from summoning that... damned triangle.

Finally, Ford called everyone over to tell them what he had figured out.

Stan sighed "So it was made by that bastard?" Ford nodded, which was followed by a groan from Stan "Great, he's still alive..." Ford nodded once again.

"Good news, he's currently trapped in a facility, in what I assume is a completely different dimension... Bad news is he can escape if someone gets their hands on this book and makes a deal with him.." Ford sighs "Which that leads me to the worse news... this book needs someone to attach to..."

Soos goes to raise his hand, but Melody turns to Soos, "Dear, I love you. But as it stands right now, we're way too focused on the shack. We wouldn't be able to watch that thing properly." Soos thinks for a moment, and nods sadly, Melody then gently rubbing his arm.

"I would offer me and Stan to watch it... but... we all know we won't be around  forever..."

Stan glares "I guess that leaves..." Ford sighs "Mabel and Dipper... they both dealt with Bill, they both know the danger he brings, not to mention those two will understand the importance of watching over this thing.."

A moment of silence fell on the group, which was broken by Stan.

"How can we trust that some other dumbass won't just pop the thing open and let Bill out that way?" Stan spoke with a hit of annoyance.

"Well... I'm going to add a lock on the book, it won't last forever but it should keep people away from opening it.." Ford replied, with slight confidence.

Melody spoke up, "What's the kids' thoughts on this?" Another silence fell for a moment.

"I haven't asked them yet... I'm planning on asking them today.." Ford spoke with a hint of worry. He already wrote the letter, but Ford was slightly hesitant on sending it. This was a big ask after all, especially for two 13 year Olds, but this was the best option they had.
