☆~~ A few days after the previous chapter w Dipper and Mabel!! ~~☆

Oh, the weekend.. the time were you can just unwind from your life at school. Where you can cool off or finish any work left over! (Imma be honest, I've never done that second part LMAO)

At least... that's how the weekend is supposed to be.
Of course nothing is how it's supposed to be with Dipper and Mabel. And it all started

With a letter.

☆~~ With Dipper and Mabel!! ~~~☆

The day started with their father getting the mail. Their father walked into the living room looking through the mail as Dipper read, and Mabel knitted her next big sweater.

Their Dad started quietly rambling about the random mail they got that day, "Bill... Ad... Ad... ugh, another bill... ad- wait." Their father stopped to take a look at the letter.

"Oh, would you look at that... Ma-ball,  Dipper, your gruncle Stan sent you two a letter!" Their Dad smiled and tossed the pare the letter.

It landed right on Dipper's book, Mabel snatched with a big grin, surprisingly quickly, and the pare moved in close to give it a read.

Their smiles quickly fell as they read.

To my precious niece and nephew,

If you two are reading this, I'm dead.

"WHAT?!" Dipper yelled, which Mabel immediately responded. "He's kidding! He's kidding!" Mabel laughed, which Dipper responded with a grumble.

They continued.

I know, I know, not a good joke. I just wanted to lighten the mood before I explained what actually happened this past week.

*Ford goes on to write about the discovery of the book and how it can't be destroyed [we already know this however]*

So, this leads me to what is probably the biggest ask I could ever ask of anyone

The book needs someone to attach to, now both me and Stan aren't going to be around forever as you two know. Soos and Melody are to busy with the shack to properly keep this out of the wrong hands. So, I ask, do you two think you could watch over it?

This is a big responsibility, and I completely understand if you two don't want to. I don't want you two to feel pressured to say yes. In fact, I would rather you two never have to think about that monster again. So please, think it over, long and hard.

Sincerely,

Your greatuncle Stanford

The two were left in silence. Bill was back? Or at least trying to? How... why...

The two were left with their thoughts for a moment before being interrupted by their father handing the two pancakes.

This snapped them out of their thoughts. "Here you go, you two, did you guys pick a cartoon yet?" Their Dad smiled.

"Oh, uh..." Dipper turned to look at Mabel, who was for once completely silent. "Huh? Oh, Powerpuff girls should be alright.." Mabel finally responded.

Their Dad looked confused "You two alright?"

The two glanced at each other, then looked up at their Dad. "Yeah.. just, some serious stuff came up..." Dipper spoke.

"Yeah... Dad, if, let's say, if you were being asked to watch something that could destroy the world, what would you do?" Mabel turned her head slightly as she asked.

The question kinda gave their Dad wiplash. His eyes widened a bit. "I... uh.. huh?.." He gave it some thought, really thinking, mostly trying to recover from that question. "Well, I would think LOT about it... but in the end, if I'm somehow the best option, I guess I would accept it?" He sat down.

Still confused, their Dad glanced at Mabel, "Why?"

"No reason... can we watch Powerpuff girls now?" Mabel smiled weakly.

Powerpuff started, but the pare were more distracted by their thoughts.

☆~~ A little bit later ~~☆

Dipper pased the floor of their bedroom, as Mabel laid in her bed, staring at the glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.

"How... how is it even possible! Bill can't be alive!" Dipper bit at the pen in his hand.

"I know! I mean... we wiped him! He should be dead!" Mabel exclaimed. "You know, this really makes Stan almost losing his memory's seem worthless," she rolled her eyes.

Mabel glanced over at her brother, who was about five seconds away from a panic attack. Mabel immediately got up and pulled her brother onto the bed. "Hey, hey! It'll be alright! No need to panic. From what gruncle Ford said, that jerk can only get out if someone makes a deal with him!" Mabel patted Dipper's back lightly, trying to avoid him spiraling.

Dipper took in some deep breaths, "Ok... ok.. but, what are we going to do? Can we really watch that thing?"

"Look.. as Dad and Ford said, we'll give it some thought! How about... a week! If we still don't know, or just don't want to, we'll say no!" Mabel smiled, which Dipper returned.

"Yeah.. sounds like a plan!" The two got up, and Mabel playfully snatched the book Dipper was going to read, which led to the two chasing each other.

☆~~ About a week later!! ~~☆

Soon the day came, the pare gave it some thought, and both came to the conclusion that, in Mabel's words, "We beat him once, we can do it again!"

And so the book was left in their hands, they found out quickly that the book loves to try to infect other books, so they locked it up in a glass box. Keeping it out of anyone's hands.

Well, at least... they did

[Sorry this was so dang short, I'll probs edit it later to be a bit longer and edit some of the text because I kinda hate how it turned it lol,
