Episode 1: Luminescent Nightmares

"HELP! ANYONE PLE–" the girl acidentally inhaled water.

Codec/Adi sprinted instantly to save the girl, attempting to pull her out of the water, but the water was... pulling her in? The girl and Adi were pulled in the water, the girl let out a muffled scream and looked at Adi with wide pink eyes. The last time she ever looked anyone in the eyes. Adi swore she looked really familiar to a girl he knew before, the girl he saw at the monster attack, the girl who waved at him in the park one time, the girl who smiled at him during the award's ceremony... The girl's eyes started to close as her lungs filled with water, Adi's lungs filling with water next. If only he could save the girl, or at least know her more, even just knowing her name...

Adi's eyes opened as he woke up in his bed. The girl was unsavable, again. Ever since he saw the girl at the one monster attack, he couldn't help but wonder about her. He saw the girl with a old man, a middle aged woman, another girl who looked similar age, and a child who couldn't have been older than eight. One time, he saw them all together, so it was safe to assume they were all family. Ever since he saw the girl and the other girl of similar age at his college campus, Adi actually has been seeing the girl in his dreams (which often ended with either the girl, Adi, or both of them dying).

Adi sighed and went to sleep.

"Adi Adi Adi." a girl sighed. "You can save the planet from aliens, yet you can't save a drowning girl."

Bruno looked around at his surroundings, he noticed Adi standing next to him and also saw the girl sitting on the couch in front of him. The girl looked at them both with a mocking gaze as her cold pink irises stared at them both, looking amused and unforgiving at the same time. Her long, chestnut hair shined in the dim lamplight in the room, and her light skin almost seemed too pale. Something about her was... off.

What was it though?

Adi's head hung low, and Bruno knew this was actually Adi.

"Melanee you spineless bitch I know you're here!" a girl's voice yelled.

The girl jumped from a shadow and tackled the other girl (Melanee) to the floor. The girl hit Melanee's neck, giving a sickly crack. Melanee kicked the girl's back, with the girl twisting Melanee's neck. Bruno was conflicted really, as he didn't know whether to use his wing daggers on Melanee or the girl. Melanee froze in her position as the girl somehow got a knife and stabbed Melanee in the ribs, possibly puncturing her lungs.

"You rest in hell you–" Melanee could've said more to the girl but she evaporated into a brilliant emerald color dust.

"Ack." the girl coughed on the dust. She glanced at Bruno and Adi and arched a eyebrow. "The bitch would be back in three days."

Bruno drew out his wing daggers, and shot the wall near the girl's head,

"Damn," the girl smirked. "in Albania we do not greet people like that. Is that a courtesy of yours or something? Trying to stab people in the skull with daggers."

"Give me answers." Bruno snarled.

"The bitch I just removed from this dream is Melanee." The girl explained. "I hadn't seen her in person since I lived in Arizona though."

"How did you meet Melanee? What is your name?" asked Adi.

"I'm Rainelle." The girl said. "I met Melanee in a dream seven months ago. Melanee showed me this odd woman, who for some reason insisted I was swapped out by accident when I was a infant. Weird huh?"

"And who is this woman?" asked Bruno.

"Well Melanee calls her Captain Tamaki." Rainelle answered.

Bruno stopped the moment he heard Tamaki's name mentioned. That selfish bitch Captain Tamaki out of everyone on the fucking planet, out of everyone?
