It was a hot day in Gotham City, the sun was scorching, burning through everyone and everything. Not even all the AC's and fans around the rich city could protect it from the heat.

Batman reached up to wipe the sweat off his forehead. His muscular bicep unintentionally flexed while doing so and he ignored the whispers and stares he was getting from fangirls all around him. He heard the unmistakable noise of a camera flashing but acted as if nothing. He came here for one reason - and it was not to talk to some crazy fans.

Instead, the reason he came here was far more important. He needed to buy a fish for his omega pet tiger. After entering the badly lit fish shop, he spent a few minutes inside examining the different fish closely.

There was a reason this was known as one of the best fish shop in town, they had all kinds: tuna, salmon, piranha, they even had shark and dolphin!

Batman finally decided on three forage fishes and left the store without paying since, after all, he was Batman.

He entered his Batmobile and slowly drove home. He wasn't in a rush. Batman took in the beautiful scenery around him which he was by now used to. He spent most of his nights saving this city, and he had reason to. This was his home, he loved this place more than he loved his mom.

He arrived directly in front of his house. Well, it wasn't really a house, it was more of a palace. An empty palace. Well empty other than he and his lovely, omega, pet tiger.

Upon entering, he called out to his pet tiger, 'I'm back!'.
In a matter of a few moments, his tiger was at his feet, excitedly clawing at the translucent plastic bag he held with the fish.

Batman then sheepishly took out one of the fish and threw it at him, which, being the great predator that he was, his tiger caught midair. Cookie, his tiger, recklessly inhaled the fish, not caring about the bones and harshly sallowing them down. Before he knew it, his stomach was grumbling for another piece and he soon found himself playfully scratching at Batman for it.

Batman cleverly threw the next fish at him. Its scales caught on the sunlight, drowning the room in an irresistible silver hue, before suddenly disappearing as Cookie callously devoured it.

Soon followed the next, however, Batman made a fatal mistake with the last, which he would later regret dearly...
