He couldn't come to terms with the fact that he was gone. He couldn't accept the reality that the most important person in his life was no longer alive.

He put down the phone and hung up. A moment later, the brunette sat against the wall, crying into his knees. His love had died, and he hadn't had the chance to confess his feelings to him. Minho had been in love with his best friend, whom he had known practically since childhood. They had been close since they were very young.

Jisung—that was his friend's name. He was full of energy and happiness, a kind-hearted and friendly person. Minho could endlessly list his good qualities and just how wonderful he was.

The blonde, to whom he had intended to confess his love, was gone.

He would never hug him again, they would never spend another day together. He would never again be able to shower him with compliments. He would never tease him for fun again. He would never again bring a smile to his face or see the blush on his cheeks, which he adored. He would never again look into his brown eyes, which to him were more beautiful than the cosmos. Minho loved everything about Jisung. He loved every imperfection, which to him was the most beautiful thing in the world. He loved him, and he loved everything connected to him. He would never be able to tell him that he loved him more than life itself and that he would do anything for him.

He never expected that today, the day he was going to confess his feelings, his entire world would collapse with the blonde's death. Jisung, the brightest sun in his sky and the most beautiful person he had ever seen, had left this world.

After receiving a call from Mrs. Han, who, choking on her tears, told him that the blonde was dead, the eighteen-year-old learned that Jisung had been hit by a car while riding his bike to get snacks for their meeting that day at Minho's place. He had planned to confess his feelings to him today. They had agreed that Minho would come over to Jisung's house at 4 p.m. An hour earlier, Minho got the call from Mrs. Han saying that Jisung was gone. The car hadn't stopped in time, and Jisung died on the spot. Mrs. Han had found out from a friend who had seen the blonde riding to the store at the time.

A week after the announcement that Jisung was dead, the brunette's condition worsened. Minho stopped leaving the apartment, and no one could reach him. He had lost a lot of weight during that time and neglected eating. He cried day and night. Everywhere he looked reminded him of Sung. When he came across Jisung's manga in his room, he broke down in uncontrollable tears. Han had loved anime and manga. They often watched them together when they were together. Now, Minho resembled more of a corpse than the happy person he had been just a week ago. He hardly ate and only drank water. He rejected help from his family and friends. He walked around constantly sad and lifeless. Because his reason for living no longer existed in this world.

Sana, his closest friend, tried calling him, but Lee kept rejecting her calls. Sana knew about Minho's feelings for the younger boy and knew she had to help her friend, who was in a very bad state.

The following week, Jisung's funeral was announced. Minho's friend decided she would attend the funeral with him. Jisung had been important to her as well. They had been friends and were close to each other. Throughout the week, from Sana's visit until Han's funeral, Minho's condition slightly improved, but after that, it only got worse.

When he saw his sun lying in the coffin, Jisung was dressed in a black suit that fit him perfectly. His blonde hair fell over his eyes.

This sight hurt Minho the most.

He saw him and realized that the blonde was gone and would never return to his life. The brunette bent over Han's body, and a waterfall of salty tears streamed down his cheeks.
