2:00 AM
(Yozef's POV)
I can't sleep, i looked around every corner of the room, i can't grasp the urge to fall asleep.
"I want to see her.. again." I said to myself as i stare at the ceiling, feeling blank and empty surging for that spark that her appearance has gave me.. I want to see that person from 20 years ago.-----------
The sun shined straight to my eyes, it was finally morning. I wasn't able to catch a good sleep, all i had was a weird dream of pure brightness, it was as if a car was running towards me.
"Must be because of the novels i've read lately.. it's affecting my sleep." I said to myself as i let out a deep sigh.--
"Yozef! Good morning, want to take a walk?"
A hand reached out, it was pale, as pale as sand. I knew who it was."Coast, don't you have work to do?"
I said as i reached for her hand."I hate work!"
"pfft- really? but your cooking taste good!"
i stated as we both laughed.--
I stood up, the sun was still rising. The scenery was very eye-catching.
"Such a beautiful view, am i right?"
Coast asked as she took steps on the white soft sand."Yeah, it's a beautiful scenery."
I answered as my eyes were focused on her pale beautiful face.We continued to walk, embracing each scenery that our eyes caught. well, sceneries her eyes caught to be exact. as my eyes were focused on one scenery only. Her appearance was perfect, she looks soft but has a rough sense of humor, she was pale but her words were as colorful as the rainbow that gazed through a horizon. She was my perfect scenery.
"Are you okay?"
she asked me."Yeah, why wouldn't i be?"
I said as i scoffed off laughing."You're funny, you remind me of someone so much!"
Coast said.as she stared into the sea, she stated these sentences.
"I wonder if that guy's still trying to end it, I don't even know if he ended it already, i just hope that he found something he can hold on to."Touched by the moment, I couldn't help but ask her
"Was he perhaps a friend of yours?"She answered thoroughly.
"I don't know, we never even exchanged names. I just happened to be there at the same time as him but it felt like we were connected somehow."I was poked by curiosity, it felt surreal, but somehow, i felt like i could relate to what she was saying.
"That's touching. You know, i also met this one girl back when i was still in high-school, i don't know how, but for some certain reason, it felt as if she told me not to do 'it' indirectly."with a hint of knowing, she said "by that you mean.."
"yeah, i tried to end it back then."
I answered unconsciously.Realizing the topic i have opened, I quickly apologized.
"Oh no, did i share too much? I'm complete sorry! I was unaware of what i was saying--"My words were put at halt, she held my hand as she stated these words.
"Keep living, Yozef."It was surreal, a glimpse of nostalgia, perhaps?
I was unsure but i was certain, i heard those words before. "It might just be a coincidence, right?" I thought to myself."Thank you, coast."
I said as i let out a smile.------
