"I wonder what they'll serve today at the cafeteria. They usually serve a wide range of delicious food there so I wonder what surprises they have today!!" Sakuya says excitedly as him and his friends, along with Suzuki were making their way to the headquarters cafeteria.
"I think you kids are going to really like the food that they're serving today~ I think all of you deserve a break after working so hard today." Suzuki cheers as she claps her hands.
"Yes, I think I deserve a break after the 5th failed potion that exploded on my face." Sion mumbles as his friends all laughs at him. All of them laughing beside Yushi.
Sion had decided to take Suzuki's offer and learn how to make potions. He might as well do something useful in the headquarters since he isn't a Cupid of any of the six departments anymore.

The group was walking through the hallways as they conversed and laughed with one another. Them about to walk past Soren's office when the door to his room opened and they were all greeted by him.
All of them just staring at one another blankly.

"Soren you're back!!" Ryo exclaims happily as the older lad could just smile.
"Yes, I've... talked to Mr. And- my father, and we've resolved all of our problems. He's still at the hospital but as of now, i'd be running his job in his place until he gets better." He replies as he could see that all the wishes were excited to have him back. All of them besides Yushi who looked down and unbothered. Soren wondered why Yushi had that expression on his face. He was the one who managed to get some sense into Soren's head, the one who told him to fix his problems with his dad, but why was he the only one who looked like he didn't care now?

"So that means that you'd be our advisor again right?! Although I'm going to miss auntie Suzuki because she's a lot more fun than you." Riku pouts as he earns a slap in the back of his head from the older woman.
"*ouch, ouch, ouch!!" The lad whines whilst caressing his head as he frowns at her.
"Stop calling me auntie will you!" She fumes as Riku only grins.

"Yes. I'd be back to being your advisor after I finish some work with the other higher ups. I'm planning to make some changes here, might as well use my father's position to my advantage shouldn't I? I'll also try to see if I could find a way for Suzuki to still work with us if you kids love having her around that much." Soren explains as all the five boys smiled widely, happy to hear that.

"Well, we should probably start rushing to the cafeteria now before all the good stuff is gone! See you soon Soren." Jaehee stated as they all bid their goodbyes to their advisor. All of them besides Yushi. He only stares at Soren before walking off with the rest of his friends.

His behaviour towards him somehow concerned Soren. The lad looks over at Suzuki who looks a bit appalled as well as she could probably figure out that Soren felt a bit hurt because of how Yushi was treating him right now.

"I'll try to talk to him. He's been acting like that for the last week, I don't know what's gotten into him." Suzuki says as she lets out a nervous laugh.
"Ah, alright then. Thanks a lot Suzuki." He says sadly. He wanted to say more but didn't know how to word it. Yushi would usually go to him when he's going through a tough time, but this time Soren could see that Yushi was keeping everything to himself.
"I'll be heading out now. See you some other time." Suzuki stated before running off so she can catch up with the boys.

"You boys go ahead and get the food. I need to have a quick talk with Yushi for a second!" Suzuki tells the other guys as they all stared at her then at Yushi in fear. Worried that he had gotten into trouble.
"Ok." Yushi didn't even question it as he follows Suzuki out of the cafeteria as the two of them made their way outside to the garden. Finding a secluded area where they could have a private talk with one another.

"Sit down here Yushi." She tells him as she pats the empty space on the bench beside her as he sat down.
He didn't even look at her. The lad had his head bowed down as he stares at his fingers in sadness.

"Did something happen to you Yushi? I know that you're the quiet type but you aren't this quiet. You're keeping something from me aren't you? It's obvious from the way that you're acting." Suzuki started off. Her speaking to him softly so he'd feel comfortable enough to open up to her about his feelings.

"I'm a failure Suzuki.." Yushi says quietly as she furrows her brows when she hears this.
"What do you mean?" She questioned.
"I'm a failure. I failed my first ever mission, and my longest one at that. I failed. I failed to make my best friend Anton fall in love. I'm a bad friend. I tried everything Suzuki. But nothing worked. I can't even call myself a Cupid, I don't even deserve that award because I'm a failure." He finally confesses. His voice breaking near the end as Suzuki could sea as tears started rolling down his face.

"Now hold on a minute Yushi. How exactly did you fail?" She says as he finally looks over at her. Although his eyes were filled with tears, behind all that tears his eyes showed furry. He felt mad at her for asking that question and he was as well mad at himself.

"She rejected him! I should've not listened to whatever advice Soren told me about soulmates because that was just straight up stupid of me. If only I had more time then maybe they would've fallen in love. I was so close... so close but the universe didn't like what I was planning. I feel bad for Anton because he has to handle a heartbreak, and I feel mad at myself because I couldn't complete this mission that I've been doing for two years!" He wails out loud.

He hears Suzuki letting out a sigh.

"Soren did tell me before I became your temporary advisor that you were someone who's very impatient." She said as he glared at her.
"I thought that maybe you had a reason for being impatient because you always wanted to finish your work in a day. But now I understand why he said that and what he meant. You really do not know how to wait Yushi. You're the Cupid of pragma; the type of love that takes long to progress. Maybe there was a reason as to why Anton got rejected. They are meant to fall in love at the end of the day, it's written in the books. If the two of them still continues to care for each other then their bond won't break. Their love is still growing, it just takes time for it. Who knows maybe one year or two later they'd end up together, this year wasn't the right timing." Suzuki explains as Yushi listens attentively.

"Geez, you really need to learn how to be patient Yushi. Maybe the pride of being the best had gotten to you so much that you forget that everything takes time to progress and grow. Take this as a learning experience. You're not a failure. Stop overthinking to the point where it becomes self doubt. You're a good kid, I'd be sad if I had to see you gone because your sadness took over to the point where you think that you're worthless all because of one job that you failed to do." She says and ruffled his hair before standing up.

"Let's head back to the cafeteria. My stomach started rumbling during the end, man I'm starving..."
Her words becoming muffled as Yushi was lost in his own thoughts.

Did Suzuki see right through him that his sadness and self doubt started taking over his mind to the point that he started believing that he wasn't worth to be a Cupid anymore.
